    Tornado is a Chinese mod. Anyone know how to make it and its parts?

    19cm long
    the materials are chinese name.
    i dont know the weight sorry sad.gif
    but this pen is good for spinning
    many many chinese people use this pen to spinning

    the concept of Tornado is 晨光能量笔GP-8670×2

    the caps and body can be changed. this mod was created by CNstar and now almost everyone in PSH has it. especially new spinners, they recomment them to use this.

    Slightly thinner, but not by much. The barrel, at least for the pens used here, is also kind of grippy. Not as much as Flexgrips, but still grippy.

    Ehr, the whole point of this pens are these specific grips. Are you talking about subs in the way of "they're exactly the same, but of a different brand" or are you just trying to create a similar pen? Cause if you're just trying to create a similar pen, then just make it a complete new one and exclude the name Tornado.

    the most similar grip i ever found in Canada is from dollarama, the transparent, big, heavy, and sticky grip....forgot the name

    and btw, i think PSH is gonna to open a online pen shop soon, then you can buy all kinds of Chinese mods from there by paypal

    Weight is about... Ugh, about the same as GA, and MSXA? Lighter than Dr KT and Impact MX, heavier than ComSsa Metallic and RSVP MX.

    Just that the second quote states the pen in more detail like instead of saying RSVP, you would say Pentel RSVP BK91 Med

    OK a few questions
    Does COP = COG?, the body doesn't look symmetrical
    Is the tip metal or plastic?
    And does anyone have videos of people spinning this mod?

    ok, ignore the pens I posted here. On HKPSA there was a very similar mod to this.

    On Pserhome, it says you can sub 晨光AGP12010 with 文明GP-382

    The body has a soft and rubbery feel.

    The COG muxt be really close to COP or they wouldnt put the signo tip there.

    COP is the same as COG as far as I can tell, and the tip is plastic.

    ops lol my bad. i thought you added a signo tip to the front cause the tip on the pen looks like it has a signo tip and the tape looks lik you're actually taping it down.

    this pen mod does not use signo tip or any other extra tip, it just comes along with the body.

    for the grip, either can be used, the one with 晨光能量笔 is CNstar mod, which is on the picture.

    The other one with 文正 BALL-PEN 2088 is also called tornado mod, but moded by LazyFarmer, here's the pic for that

    Tornado mod is good, but once you spin that barrel for too long, the other pen barrels like RSVP and comssa will feel slippery. I really hate that.
    I recommend IceMT mod. basically a gripless cheat comssa with tornado grips over the whole comssa cap. but i prefer no signo tips

    i googled the chinese names for them, and they turned up some sort of chinese amazon.com like sites which sell them, but i dont reccomend it as it is somewhat sketchy. just trade or wait for penwish to get parts wink.gif

    Yeah, it looks the same as pen used here. This pens has a writing "UB-150". Here's the photo:

    I don't think it writes, even if it writes, you'll be using tape for grip.

    kind of only the front of the cap is different. It is a sub but it will look different from the normal one at the ends. Another example is sub bodies have different body pattern at the pen tip part.

    And Uniball "eye" is the same thing as uniball vision

    I like the cap pen better for writing with because it has a ruler of measuring ink left in the pen on the body.

    white grips are difficult to get
    clear grips can be found in japan and hong kong and china.

    there is no tip on the tornado, if ur talking about the plastic thing on the cap than thats not really a tip. that comes from the cap not from the pen with the grip and by the way the name 晨光AGP-12010 of the body is wrong in this tutuorial. the name in the tutorial is a sub, a great one infact but the original is called M&G(晨光）Sketch (速写时代） GP-1069
