That is SICK!!! I gotta see if I can learn it now.

It just looks like a bak with a whole lot of arm movement followed by another bak.. Not a new trick, just a way of innovating a new way to make something old look new....

The pen doesn't go around the finger the first time though (right?), so it's not just a bak -> bak. They've taken the "WristAround"-concept and applied it to a BackAround I guess, and then added another BackAround.

It looks like Charge Reverse -> Backaround except you balance the pen on one finger on Charge Reverse then do backaround. And it's the Palm Up -> Palm Down version of Charge Reverse, not just the Palm Up or just the Palm Down version.

I think this can be put in the Isolation thread.. Looks very similar.

In the beginning of the trick, the pen doesn't move around the hand. I think there's no charge rev. The hand moves and the pen follows.. And then he does the backaround. -

whoa....looks awesome

he has it balanenced on the COP and makes the motion of a bak (iono) then does an actual bak....

Nice... but isnt it just an unusual hybrid?

topic creator is not claiming this is a new trick, only asking how to perform it. -

It seems as though the pen does an Anti-Gravity during some portions of the trick.
Please correct me if I'm wrong. -

This trick is rather intriguing...besides this "twisted bak hybrid" and "wristaround" what other tricks utilize this type of hand motion? Is the hand motion unique enough that it deserves it's own name/category? My ability to do breakdowns kind of sucks so perhaps someone from the naming committee could break this down?

I wouldnt even begin to understand how to break this down, even in hybrid notation -

that looks like an inverse 1.5 bak - bak with isolation. I think it could derve a new name. probably twisted backaround suits it the best
oh wait..wait a sec. i thought u made that video...well then, i'm not sure how you perform it. I think you got to do a backaround and during the trick you kinda twist ur hand and it follows a inverese 1.5 bak concept (i think). Something like that. Thats how it looked to me..good luck anyways. -

cobra bite? palmaround? check out Pyralux' solo video for more applications. -

I'm not very good with the technical stuff but it looks like it's a Bak interrupted by isolation(or some other pen balacing/hand motion thing) into the finish of the bak. Does that make sense
-

i dunno if im right or wrong but it looks like only 1 bak is completed... it starts the bak and then does that twisted hand/arm thing keeping it in one place and then finishes the bak.

Could a twisted bakfall be done?

looks cool, but I don't think many people could do it smoothly in a combo...
not including Pyralux P:
