Advanced Tricks / Concept:Stalls

I was thinkning about this,
There are the various back stops and other etc. but Iw as wondering how this could be intergrated into a combo...
Perhaps different diffcult figner positions in which a trick goes directly from one stall to a different one.
How could stalls be made to be visually and aestheticly appealing?
I was thinking like poses for the hand in which the pen is balanced or intertwined within the fingers.
Maybe i' just drank to much... -

hmm stalls is a pretty old concept and has been applied to combos for a long time.
it's true that they've never been used a lot, but in the last two years the best combos with stalls are the ones from bonkura I think -

But yah, he used them, but I was thinking like a combo of them jsut like made out of stalls with transitions in between...

It would be a very boring and uninteresting combo IMO.

But it would show the penspinners dexterity, balance, precision, skill and flexibility =] But combined with very fast transitions and smooth stops and starts I think it would be very intreseting to watch....

Stalls take great skill espicially if you are going to de-cellerate quickly from a previous trick, I would be impresssed =\
And there isn't a definite list of all the stalls....
And going beyond stalls, how about tricks which don't involve the pen moving but rather you hand manipulating its way arround the pen.... ;D -

xD... I don't even know the names of all the stalls, stalls can be really complicated and hard to preform after trying to decelerate from highspeeds....

i'm sorry but pivot's stall was horrible...
check out pyralux's 'stall fall' video, idk exactly where, in that link from the Rare Tricks thread.
that looks pretty good.
i plan on releasing a combo copy of this when i get to it. i can actually already do the stall and the backaround, i just cant do the stuff after. -
