- Time Limit for a COMBO: probably around 20-25 secs?

- !!!Group leaders, please come up with a combo. 1 person per trick or short combo!!!
- Each group needs a spinner to spin the whole combo in that same position

i suppose you could get everyone in a group to use mebeam at once to try and adjust it there so they can all see that they each have the same angle as the next person
then from there, they can either use their webcam to film, or set up a camera at the same exact angle (webcam would be better so that the angle is already set)
i think it would be more interesting to see this as a competition of who can make the most fluid combo doing this method, sorta like, the synchronized stuff in the olympics
but then again, maybe just have it as a collab first to see how well it turns out
either way, seems interesting -

that's not what i had in mind...
this collab would probably be aiming for a really good editor instead of really good pen spinners so that even newbies to pen spinning can also participate in this collab. -

I think itd be really cool, if someone makes a chat vid conference, and then someone takes a vid of the comp screen, with it like going down through rows of spinners, to make one long huge combo.... like a round in music? like just like dominos or something... iono... -

No fail is needed.
edit: didn't someone write something about fail right before me?Start of with finding an editor who is capable of something like this, I would prefer someone with vast skills in vegas or slight skills in premier/final cut/other serious editing software.Next you'd need a promoter, someone with a name which people recognize and can follow. Lastly you need to consider if you can organize this yourself, or if you need help?
You would need to take in sign-ups and divide everyone into groups. Left handed, MX-spinning from this angle, symmetrical pens spinning from straight up, etc. You'd need loads of people, as you said. Where are you supposed to get everyone? And spinners on somewhat the same skill level would be preferable.
You could contact other boards that understand English (FPSB, GPC, etc) and get sign-ups from there, assigning every board a personal organizer who redirects everything to you. Every group should also have a "leader" who somewhat decides the combo and makes sure to gather all the combos from his group and send them in a zip-archive to the chosen editor.
I can help organizing or promoting this collab if you want me to ^^ -

No, but I'd suggest not naming this like that, since this isn't "just a collab". This actually has a reason to exist. Naming the collab after yourself is just because you're organizing/promoting it.
Also, I hadn't seen your organizing post on the previous page :P Anyway, I'd like to take care of the left-handed group if that's ok? -

I don't think we should use angles to divide groups, since the group should decide on an angle by themselves. we should divide with mx, comssa, etc... Should we name them like "UPSB MX Group"?
But before we do the multiple boards thing we should decide on a name - it'd be odd if we posted messages on other boards advertising for a collab w/out a name...
and lol, if we get lots of spinners for this it's going to be a long list of credits... -

1. maybe you should so that you don't get confused when editing... the name can appear and the credits can be in text form so the video won't be spammed with credits xD.

Jst to add on to your idea i thought wether everyone in the same group created a combo like you said and the camera angle alignment is not necessary.
Basically what i'm saying is that: after everyone does the combo, the last person does the whole combo..

Yep, just Interchange sounds better (though I don't know if the name actually makes much sense for this collab? I like it anyway though). In the "intro" you could put 'Interchange' in big, and then 'collab video' smaller below. Well, depends on how you want the text to appear, but you get my point.
So I'm leading the lefties.
I wouldn't make the names of the groups appear in the video, it's just so Nada can make out what belongs where. All videos should be named "[GroupName][#inGroup][SpinnerName]", so he knows what combo the video belongs to, and what number in that combo the video should be. What board people are from isn't needed either, all you need is the name of the spinners (though how would you make it appear in the video? since every spinner is on so short... you could just flash the names when their part comes)
Hamor and I will also be filming for the lefties group.
I would keep the combo count low, rather 8 or so, and set a max limit of combos to 20 secs. But that's just me. How about dedicate groups to other forums? Say group #4 and 5 are FPSB groups, group #6 is GPC. I can post up information on GPC if you want me to. I'd rather keep away from FPSB for now... *shrug*
This needs sooo much more organization, and people need to become interested in it. -

I wouldn't do that nada, the credits would end up being as long as the collab itself due to the huge amount of spinners. Have one name up, when the video changes flash it into a new name. Then just include full credits with all spinners names, and whatever more you want, in the info on YouTube/UPSB and wherever the collab is posted. -

Why would you want to sign up for a specific group, when there's not even anyone in that group yet? Just make sure you get in a group with people roughly the same skill-level as you, and that you can easily communicate with (same time-zone etc). Actually, Kari-chan should divide people into groups, instead of people saying "I want to be in that group!".

The groups aren't supposed to have names, it's just to distinguish while we're planning it who's gonna be where. And what.. 100-200 names (20 people / group, 5-10 groups) aren't displayed in 20 seconds, so having the names in the credits of the video is not an alternative. Also, are you sure you are capable of leading a group? Do you have the maturity in personality to communicate with the members and skills in penspinning to plan out a combo that works for everyone?
Kari-Chan, can you please move shoeman6 or whatever he's called to an already existing group instead of giving him a group for himself, and clump the leaders together. Why are people calling dibs on leader? Just sign up and assign leaders later. I don't mind if anyone more capable is assigned to be leader of the lefties group.

1p2h involves 2 hands but not simultaneously. So you can do tricks with your right "or" left. As of now left would be helpful..PM me and we'll talk about it.. -
