    I just broke my favourite (and only) pen because my parents got annoyed at me for buying my first pack of RSVPs and said I was 'mutilating' the pens, and took like, half my pack and gave it to my brother. So, that explains why I'm not all riled up to make another MX. I just don't have the heart to throw away my old MX, so for now I'm spinning w/ a Bictory (I 'borrowed' it from a friend smile.gif). What do you do with your favourite pens that broke? I'm keeping mine on my windowsill, where it will retire and look out the window for all eternity D: ...until it falls off.

    I just throw away all my broken pen(cil)s, and I've only broke 3 that were ever involved with spinning. A red RSVP, retractable BIC, and a transparent blue mechanical pencil.

    I've broken pens when modding before. I just salvage what I can and throw away what I can't.

    Edit: I cracked an RSVP cap once. I replaced the cap with another when I got home and tossed the broken one.

    Yeah, I've ripped my HGG grip that was a miracle when I found it, and replaced it with a Jiminie grip. I was heartbroken.

    Broke my MX, no idea where that is now. Broke a HGG, 2 G2s, and many many of the various unmodded pens I've used. All of them went straight in the trash. laugh.gif

    I dont believe in "broken pens". One can always use "broken pens" as parts.

    Well, sometimes I keep my pen and sometimes I don't. It depends on how good of a pen it was before it broke. I've only had one pen. And a bunch of unmodded ones. When it broke, I always replaced it w/ new parts. Then eventually it just ran out of parts, and I couldn't make a new one...unless I can make a mod out of grips, caps and broken pieces of the body x_x

    i keep every single part, there's always a mod where its like "now use 1 cm of that random body you used to have but you threw out 2 secounds before reading this tutorial". Unless my mum throws them away that is...

    I made swiss cheese out of a RSVP because I had to train making the hole for the RSVP MX retr. by K4S

    And I broke a RSVP MMT into 2 halfs because I was furious biggrin.gif

    I definately destroyed 2 pens yesterday experimenting with 'plastic stretching'. A third pen also died because i wanted to know how it was made, sigh.

    Are you serious? Mutilating pens? Your parents are crazy. Your brother isn't a true brother if he didn't give the pack back to you... My parents don't care that I bought a lot of RSVP's. The only thing that got me mad is that they randomly steal some pens from my collection.

    my rsvp mx broke when i kept dropping it, i got it from penwish, so it was superglued. the whole tip, counting the plastic, got weakened and the metal tip broke off with the plastic one still glued into it sad.gif .

    Got a few bags and boxes of random pens laying around. They're not necessarily broken like many people said, I just haven't found a use for them.

    I can't tell you how many times I've broken a RSVP MSXA, and it's always in the same damn spot.
    I sit on it and the RSVP barrel breaks where the HGG grip does over the part of the RSVP where it's original grip is.
    It's impossible to repair, so I have to just go and use another RSVP. dry.gif

    This is exactly what happened to my RSVP MX, but worse. The RSVP cap came off with the back, black cap of the pen where you drill the hole for the ink tube to fit through. >_>

    I had no other pens to spin with, so I had no choice but to superglue the pen and cap together. In doing so, I cannot write with it anymore. So I have to take an extra pen to school to write with dry.gif

    I ussually let people try to spin some of my mods, but my black and blue MSXA nono.gif nono.gif nono.gif Nobody is allowed to touch that. My brother has broken the hgg tip off like 5 times.

    me to thumb.gif i only have one mod either...xD

    but never broke it^^

    and i hardly let ppl touch it and i always carry it in my pocket^^

    I've broken or damaged a ton of rsvps and threw out like 10 rsvp bodies last week because my pen parts box was overflowing laugh.gif

    So far, I've only had a small crack around the lip of the lid for my RSVP MX Cap. (Think it was my friend because he was trying it and it fell heaps of time, didnt tell me though)

    No-ones gonna be touching my Dr KT once i get it dry.gif

    Seems to me the majority of broken pens were RSVP's...

    I dismanteled my homemade mod to keed some pieces. I throwed away the broken parts.

    i made my friend an rrmmx (sry, to lazy to look up its other name ^^) and the end where the ink tube comes out broke twice. i had to trash 2 rsvp's because of his carelessness (or my uber lame modding skillzz) in taking care of the pen =_="



    EDIT: (instead of posting a new story, ill go ahead and edit this one to aviod the harrasment of the cops um.. um.. i mean adjustments of the mods)
    my beloved yellow capped metallic comssa with a green/red grip scheme was lost among the city that is know as muligan's mini golf course
    so i go to muligan's with a bunch of other ppl from my church, and me being the only penspinner, some people would ask about my pens (i.e. can i see?)
    i let someone see it. and let them take it out for a spin (no pun intended.. seriously). they went off to play minigolf and i soon catch up with him
    i make hand getures from a distance saying, "do you have my pen?" then he responds by saying, "oh, i dropped it some place over there (→ thats points to nowhere).."
    good thing i order some stuff from penwish ^^
    thats the last time ill let someone else borrow my pens (not really)
    ANY WAY... sorry for the giant edit.
