Before I start, "pros" = people who are selected for major collabs, enter wt etc...
I was just thinking about the possibility of any new pros coming along. There's all the big names like Eriror, Key3, s777 blah blah blah, but is there ever going to be a new pro?. Spinners who started much later than all the pros are unlikely to overtake them, so the WT will involve the same names for years and years. Only when the current pros quit ps or die will new spinners have the ability to enter a tournament and have a chance. What do you think?

There will always be newer people that have exceptional skill and talent so there will always be newer names appearing. I can think of a few on UPSB alone that have the potential.

Wasn't s777 fairly unknown and not a major participant of big events until WC08? So yeah, it's not only possible, it's even highly likely. Penspinning doesn't require years of practice to progress, so anyone can basically appear from nowhere and hit the stars.

dude... new "pros" appear all the time, especially at major events... that's how Minwoo and s777 built their reputation internationally, and hopefully pyralux at the WT09 cool.gif

also what about SEVEN, he became known because he won the JEB tournament.

these are all pros that emerged in 2008.

pros in sports all eventually die out due to aging and whatnot, and so do pros in ps

but we just lose interest tongue.gif

there will always be room for new champions

lol, I really think my friend from school will become pro, in 3 days he can do all of the fundemental (but not TA rev, sonic rev or charge rev) he came up with infinity without anyone telling he what it is and can make a GREAT combos on the spot for the amount of tricks he knows. He's on JEB (he's Japanese) and hopefully he'll OWN all soon.
PS: I figured out I-sonic all by my self today while at the doctors biggrin.gif yay

The new good spinners will get pro and the old like eriror, key3, ayatori get legends.
Depends on how you definate a pro. A good Penspinner is not only skilled for me, he have to present passion and creativity for spinning as well
