Hi, i'm wondering if anyone knows some good ways to combo with triangle pass. when i try to connect it to other tricks, it seems kinda detached cuz of the rotating speed difference (i guess i'll work on getting it faster too) and the finger position, with T12 having to all be in centre of pen. the only smooth transition i can think of is from finger pass to triangle pass. and then last thing is how to connect it to other tricks?

you can try using thumbaround for the normal triangle pass like... twisted sonic 23-12 -> triangle pass T12 -> thumbaround
or u can use triangle pass reverse. that one is easier to connect imo cause u can link it to a twisted sonic reverse

Easy transition out of it: toss the pen into the air a bit, catch the pen as you would for an aerial, continue spinning. If you get a fast aerial spin, you can go into a top spin trick (palmspin, backspin, Thumbspin, etc...).

u can get in and out pretty easily really... with passes or whatever
but i still cant get in with an Ext TA like bonkura did in WT

Here. Look at dathroat. He uses triangle pass I think. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Double charge --> Triangle pass rev. The speed doesnt match that much but you can manage. anyways triangle pass is not thaat useful a trick..

What exactly do you mean by "useful"? It looks cool, imo.
I mean it doesn't move the pen up or down the hand like a sonic, but I wouldn't say it's useless because if I'm looking at it the way I think you mean then lots of tricks are useless.

Here's what I've done recently comboing in and out:

    Thumbindex spin / thumbspin 1.5 T1 T12 > triangle pass T12 > ext ta T1 12
    Thumbindex spin / thumbspin 1.5 T1 T12 > triangle pass T12 > triangle pass rev T12 > neobak 12 23
    Indexaround 12 12 > pass 12 23 > triangle pass T23 > TA T3 > FL TA

    Indexbak > TF charge FL rev TA > triangle pass T12 rev > pass 12 23 > inv shadow 23 34

    Middlearound 23 23 > triangle pass 123 > pass 23 T1 > ext ta T1

I'm sure some of my notations are wrong, but yeah w/e

The way I link triangle pass into a combo is:

    Twisted Sonic 23-12>Triangle Pass 123

OR Pass Rev 23-12>Triangle Pass 123.

First, i did'nt say it was'nt useful at all and Second, that's my point of view and that's how i feel triangle pass is. It is cool but a bit annoying to get it fast.
