Can we get a search option (whole new application or w/e its called) when trading/buying pen(s)/pencil(s) ?

I mean, its really annoying posting your trade thread up only to find it that it got bumped down a whole page overnight. And when you really want to buy something, it takes forever to find someone who is willing to sell.

I drew what (I) think it should look like.

:: basically a window with a search bar,
people post what their selling on the application, and buyers just type it into the search bar and hope someone is selling it

    consider this. please?

what if you just end up with a list of old pens? (or does the engine automatically give you newest to oldest?)

and how about the people who don't bother erasing sold pen's etc...?

have you enver used the search engine before? of course it sorts by date...if ppl dont bother erasing old pens that's their problem...u should check the last updated date.

just tried out the search option:

    searched : Dr. Kt

i got a whole bunch of stuff. (is it possible to have the engine search whole words?)

c'mon zombo, search option would make our lives easier. less time spent on searching,

The only advantage of this system vs regular searching is that you could probably search for PEns somebody wants or somebdy needs speciafically. (I guess you'll get a bunch of "want KT!!1!!" threads instead of threads from people who have a KT... by searching for KT)

this will be difficult to implement.

you will need a system where ppl manually list every pen in some kind of database

then you have make sure ppl dont make typos when they enter their pens

you can change it from most recent first to most relevant.

you should see how good search tool actually is. i'm looking for sunburst so i would search and my results would be like this. If you can't find the pen you want by doing this.. that means either noone is selling it or your lazy as hell. tongue.gif

It should be something like: When you make a thread..it should ask you wether you wanna buy or sell. you fill up wht you have too and it goes into account. these results will be the ones that you get in a new "pens searchbar" (or sumtin like that). and once you've sold or bought you just have to go to the thread and remove it from the list.
I knw this is hard but it would be really nice. I've been wanting a MSXA for so long and cant find anyone who's selling this.

if you can't find MSXA for sale when you know how to use search properly, it means people are not selling MSXA or you are just not good at trading. Makiing trade search won't make any difference.
