    I have 2 questions. Is the shadow a fundamental trick? I'm pretty sure that it is and I didn't see any topics on it here. But I am having some problems with it. Would any one suggest anything. I am having problems with the whole trick pretty much. I can do it like once every 30 tries.

    no, shadow is not a fundamental, i believe a better topic of discussion is "Should it be", though.

    if u need help, use the Shadow thread under advanced tricks.

    Watch Eso's tut if you haven't, and keep practicing.
    I used to only do it about 5% of the time but I practiced it a lot for a week and I could do it about 80% by the end.

    No, because it uses the "charge" motion fundamental to do.

    So does sonic.

    but shadow you actualy need to know how to do it. sonic, not so much (since your building up pressure on your thumbflap then releasing it.)

    whether the trick requires a fundamental to be performed or not doesn't matter
    if it did, then arm roll/elbow pop would be fundamentals

    it took me a while to learn shadow..but definately not a fundamental. learn charge first and that helps a lot. shadow was rele difficult for me at first but after a while it makes sense.

    I can do:
    sonic
    twisted sonic
    KAM's four loop combo
    thumb around
    sonic harmonic....thats where you do sonic 43>32 right?
    and a reverse thumb around thing to 32
    and I have made up a few combos with those
    and of course charge on 32

    But I need to learn shadow. I am getting the movement down now. I have do it like 20% of the time. In a few days I should have it.

    when you do shadow, place your index under the pen so the pen travels on top of your hand and immediately place your index up so it hits it and falls down

    1) say 23 than 32...sound just a bit more convinient
    2) sonic harmonic is not a sonic from 43-32..sonic harmonic is:
    Sonic 1.0 23-12 --> Sonic Reverse 1.0 12-23 or vice versa.
    3)If your talkin about sonic rise fall harmonic:
    Sonic 1.0 34-23 --> Sonic 1.0 23-12 --> Sonic Reverse 1.0 12-23 --> Sonic Reverse 1.0 23-34.
