Hi, We are plenty of pen spinners living near Paris.
That's why we decided to create a website for us !
APPS is the name of a new association created by and for penspinners who live near paris
The administrators of the forum are Cookieslover, TONYMONTANAED, Azzaka, Eternal
And the moderators are JLD, Sig, Rastaman, Thib_, Thundercrash, Houssa, Badtzu, Lanfear
The aim of this association is to gather poeple near Paris, in order to organize easily meetings and collaborations
We don't want to replace FPSB that's why we won't put a trick session in the forum and that explains why there is no "board" in the name.
Ouf course everybody can register !
We want this to be international

You're right but, i mean,
There can be reasons why sometimes poeple need to talk to us: when they come to paris and want to know what they can find here, ask for seeing us and organizing a meeting (exemple: dreambaby)
In addition to that, even if this forum is for parisian pen spinners, we would be glad to welcome foreigners in order to share our vision about pen spinning, about our city, talk about multiple subjects, and so on
And maybe some of you want to learn french.
Anyway, event though this forum does not interest you, I just give you the link so that if one day you need to talk to us, you will be able to do it through it
(I'm not sure my english is correct xDDD)

is it truely neccesary to have an entire website to be dedicated to a specific location of penspinners in France?
i mean, you already have FPSB.... would it be that difficult to set up a sub-forum for these people within that website?
We already have a well known international website... a little something called UPSB.
This is just another website that is un-needed and not really useful.

We don't ask people here to be active members of APPS in order to do something like UPSB. We just want you to be aware of this site, so that you can contact us easily if needed
In addition to that, in FPSB when we want to organize meetings in Paris, it's really complicated because we only have one topic, hidden in the meeting section of this big big forum.
Ans as we are such an ammount of pen spinners here, it would be really helpful
In Paris, The majority of the pen spinners are not alone, they are friends with the others. In our forum we will easily organize "small meetings" that cannot be organized in FPSB because it has nothing to do with it^^
Edit: And if the association does work, it could help us get places to organize ig meetings And have medias -

As i said.. couldn't you just make an actual "Sub-Forum" in FPSB?
Called APPS or watever.. and use that as your own forum?
This would keep everything neat and clean within the country.
and every section of the country could even have a sub-forum..
just an idea. -

FPSB server is unstable, i dont think they would want to do it this, better to be seperate and lighten the load on their site, save them some bandwidth.

we're talking about FPSB being down, not UPSB.
oh btw FPSB is gonna be back up soon, maybe this friday.
