Okie dokie, well here's the story recently I found myself a couple mechanical pencils the Zebra Z-Grip if you wish to look it up. And i made a mod out of them, and was working it out to be a good pencil for spinning, and everything was going smoothly. And then Last night and tonight night as well, while I was spinning it in my bed and on the way home from my Schools football game the pencil seemed to continue movement when I stopped spinning.

I tried a few simple movements, like slightly rotating it, and doing the charge. The pen seemed to veer off in a random directions ...

What I think it is is the metal clip of the pen. And its acting like a divining rod ... rotating towards underground water or something.

    Straight up weirdness...

Here's a video I made (I hope people will be able to see it)

(Sorry for sound ... my sister is watching a movie >.< )

Looks like someone needs to read up on "gravity" and "momentum"

    ._.

Its defiantly not the Weight distribution...I actually just added those grips to Balance it out today. There is a slight pull on the pen its not gravity.

I have another that hasn't received new grips and it is also moving strangely.

(And we can do without the sarcasm)

One of Newtons laws state that objects that are in motion want to stay in motion.

The fact that you gave it momentum means the pen itself will "pull" itself in the same direction it was moving.

    >.< Its not that

The CLIP end of my pen dosen't exactly continue to move. It basically pushes itself, similar to a magnet rejecting another magnet of the same polarity.

Okay, I just took an extra clip end I removed every piece it seems that it is the barrel itself seems to move...perhaps the plastic was ionized when it was fashioned ...

Okay ... Um ... I just tried this on all of my pens ... they all seem to be doing it ... Perhaps its just my imagination. I apologize for wasting your time, if a mod would be kind enough to lock and delete this that would be great.

(I must have a new mystical weight judgment power! OOoooOOoo!)

[Feel free to insult me on my brain fart..]

    :HeadSlap:

OH! And dose anybody like the look of my mech pencil mod? (Any things I should add?)
