Can someone please translate this tut for me? I'd really like to make this mod for school...
    http://thefpsb.free.fr/viewtopic.php?t=7713
and you might say that I can probably make this pen just but looking at the pics, but I'd rather play on the safe side, since I'm a bad modder (lol) and my pens supply and trading ability are both limited >_<"

    Help will be appreciated.

    http://translate.google.com/translate?u=ht...sl=fr&tl=en

I used that. And I could read the tutorial fine.
While it's no perfect translation, it will suffice for those who can't understand it from the pictures.

Its pretty much self explanatory by the pictures. The only part that you might not get is that you use 1cm of an inktube (G2, Sailor Gel...) to connect the two bodies.

huh, weird, when I tried that that gave me a different translation o.o
umm thanks anyway, I'll go with that~ and since I already opened that thread, can someone tell me how durable this mod is? I intend to use it in school, so it's quite important... and also, can other tips such as g-tec (or hi-tec) can also be used to make it balanced? (I believe it's slightly back-heavy, like a MX, right?)

the thread, as far as I can tell said that it was durable, I don't know how true that is, I'd want to see for myself.
And I don't know. I don't see why you couldn't use other tips.

you don't want to use signo tips cause they don't go thru the rsvp ink that well. hgg, g3, hi tec c those work fine i think

    DUDE
    i'm telling you
i've made this mod b4 and its really unstable. they attach a retrac. rsvp mechanism onto the back of an rsvp with any randon tube you can find.
looks really ugly and super unstable. One sonic and its gone.
if you want a retrac rsvp, go for the rsvpl. its on this site, though you might be hard pressed to find a lakubo pen in israel.
    EDIT:
i just made one and even though the momentum is off, if you use the end of a better retractable mechanism it works great! no tape needed. you might have one left over from da's retrac g3. doesn't look so smexy but o well. its a nice school mod.

Hmm.... can I get some more opinions on Skahars MX? maybe someone made it and it was durable somehow? you'll never know.... After all, getting the parts for it will be much easier the for the RSVPL....
and also, if someone has any comments or opinions on the RSVPL I'd like to hear them....
and forget about the looks for now, It can always be fixed (well almost always lol), let's focus on durability..

I made one but I extended it and made a few changes:
cut the retractable RSVP a few cm farther down from that line (more towards the tip)
I used a black tube that I found that fits in perfectly but sometimes it make the barrel crack
I put a G3 tip on the end, and apparently when you cut the front of the RSVP off it screws right on
With the tube it is very stable, and I haven't tried it with an inktube.

LOL, Benjamin, mine work good, use glue if the 2 parts aren't very strong. The mod is very good but if you don't know how make it good, it's sure your mod will be break.

If you combine rzdz and rsvp retract, the mod can have a good looking

ya i know, thats what i was saying. using the end of a better retractable mechanism is just the perfect thickness to hold the pieces together. its actually ok-ly stable if you cut the barrels as straight as can be.
