No, it was an odd way of saying that this thread is useless... There are thousands of pens out there which are, in fact, rare. But not all of them are used for pen spinning.
TEK's Wooden KT was either photoshopped or "outserted", it was not made of wood...

Pelikan Signals. Someone called them "German ComSsas". They aren't produced anymore. I'm spinning an unmodded one.

You should really keep to pens that aren't owned by many, I mean you can't say Cubix and regular RSVPs are rare, there are still thousands of them circulating even though they might not really be produced anymore (but I think they are?)

They are the "new Dong-a ComSsa" that are people are talking about, and come in blue, red and black. The black ones aren't rare at all I guess, since you can get them cheap at PW, the blue ones are a bit harder to get, the only way I know of is through PDS ComSsa pens, and the red ones is only from the new ComSsa. Since none of us live in S-Korea, we don't know how rare they actually are, but for us right now they are pretty rare

Since the previous topic starter of the list with rare pens got banned and the list hasn't updated since 2 Sept. i am starting a new topic that i will often update.
So here we go.
1) PDS Comssa V1,V2 (Extremely rare)
2) PDS Comssa V3,V4 (very very rare)
3) PDS Comssa V5,V6 (very rare)
4) UCPSB Bic (rare)
5) PSAJ RSVP razzle dazzle (very rare)
6) Dong-A Aqua (Extremely rare)
7) Zebra 3000*F (very rare)
8) Bonkura penz gear (very very rare) Only 200 exists (maybe 600)
9) Monami Colors (very very rare)
10) Black and White Dr grip (rare) It wasn't some time ago but since many Dr Grip colors are not produced any more it is becoming rare
11) Persons (very rare) It is said that some people in Japan can find them in some stores but anyway they are very rare
12) Francheville Glitter Gel pen (Extremely rare) (At present)
13) GPC Comssa (very very rare) Only 100 exists
14) UCPSB RSVP (rare)
15) FPSB RSVP (very very rare) Only 150 exists
That's it for now.
This is a list for checking if a pen is are and how much rare.
1) First of all, we must be intresting in that pen. Without any doubt there are many many pens which are rare and maybe we don't know many of them but we don't care about them. We care about pen spinning related pens.
2) It must be out of production or it must be produced a little.
3) It must not be available online or to a real and famous store. Any pen that anyone can buy from all over the world from an online store is not rare.
4) It must be hard to find a person who has that pen and want a trade with you.
In my opinion, these are the basics.

and UCPSB bics and RSVPs aren't very rare.... if anything they should just be rare.

i agree but it doesn't matter if there are tons of them. If there are tons of some pens but only a few people have these tons then this pen is rare. For example, definetely there are people in Korea that have tons of blue and red caps but they are rare to the rest of the world. -

on the point of red/ blue comssa caps.... you can buy them on the comssas from PDS... therefore they arent rare... they are annoying to find.... but you CAN buy them online.

For a reason i don't know every pds pen with blue caps is out of stock. Now with the red capped pds comssa it is the first time i ever seen something like that at pds. Now these comssas are in stock but maybe after some time they will be out of stock for a long time like the blue comssa capped pds stuff. Then they will be rare again.

No. Red and blue comssa caps can only be found in Korea and there aren't many people who trade from korea. Besides, as i said everything someone can get from an online store is not rare (maybe red comssa caps will not be rare in sometime if pds store continue to sell them normally). Maybe, but lets wait. I forgot to mention that a pen is more rare when there are a lot of people that want that pen but only a few exists and only a few people have them. -

Red and Blue comssa indeed can only be found in Korea. So is yellow white comssa. (unless its koreanshop oversea). You can buy red/blue comssa online. just because you don't know how doesn't make it 'rare.' If people don't trade with Korean, thats their problem. -

Yeah, my friend and I are the only ones that I know of who have access to MSP's. And quite a few people have PMed us asking us to trade for them. The company that makes them went out of buisness, and the store near us has stopped importing them, and the store only has 14 left. -

If you sand off a Dr Grip Tip, it becomes golden underneath. All you need is a good sanding machine.

I am afraid you are wrong. They are just a bit rare but as far as i know they are still in production. Besides, every pen spinner in Hong Kong can find packs of F-3000 very easy. -

Do you truely know what you are talking about?
f-3000 have been out of production for about 6 years.
The only reason we are still seeing them is because they have all of their leftover stock in Hong Kong... and more HK spinners are coming to UPSB.
and pencil mod is NOT AT ALL rare....
the pencils are still in production... the caps are still in production..
and you can buy them in USA jap. shops, and China, Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, and Penwish...
you can get them ANYWHERE. -

The pen which isn't produced anymore since 6 years is the 3000*F, which is double-sided when you but it.
3000*F, not producted anymore, unmodded (~30$ for 1).
F-3000, still produced, unmodded (~5$ for 1).
Lots of people buy 2 F-3000 to double-side one, to make it look like the 3000*F. -

As far as i know when we say Monami Colors we meant monamis like this one

Stevieboy7 has a point. A pen is rare when there are people who want that pen but they cannot find it easily. Yes, people cannot find easily MSP and Franchville Glitter Gel but there are not many people who want these pens. I am looking every day the trading forum (not only in UPSB) and i have never ever seen one looking for these pens.
As i am mentioning in the first post there are many pens that are rare but we consider rare a pen when a lot of pen spinners are looking for it. -

Yes there are.. Lots of people want Francheville Glitter Gel pens, but most of them don't mention these pens in their trade list because they know that they're too rare.
By the way, I've never seen any of these anywhere else than on this weird website (where you can't order them..). I don't think that anyone have ever seen one somewhere else. If anyone had some of them, maybe there would be more people who want these pens.. -

yes that's true.
there are only 150 RSVP. French people who want it had to write down to a list (with the number of RSVP they want.. 2 maximum for 1 guy). And that's it, but sure not every french people can get it :/ -

hmm... once again a few things.
1. Antibacterial Dr.Grip's are NOT RARE. They are still in production, and are very popular in Japan. Along with BLACK.
2. Maybe instead of gold dr.grip tips, you should right down Gold dr.grips. Which have gold clip, gold ring, gold tip, and are nice
3. Maybe, if youre gonna have SOME dr.grips. might as well have all the rare ones. Add: Dr.Grip (wooden, yellow, pastel colors)
and add PSAJ RSVP v.2 , blue f-3000, Thaispinner comssa v.1.
and takee out that (at present) stuff besides the francheville glitter gel pens.
They are a small austrailian company that only made these pens for a very limited time. They stopped a long time ago.
Whatever is out there, is out there. -

UCPSB pens where also made in large amounts, along with PSAJ rsvps....
any type of imprinted rsvp has to be made in minimum amounts of 250.... no site does less.
