Can you spin with them?

Well, I've been spinning quite a lot on my school holidays, whether it be waiting for a new round to start on CS, or otherwise. But I've come to notice if I have just washed my hands, my ability to keep a good grip on my pen is compromised. It seems if my hand is a bit dusty, sweaty, or even when it's neither I can spin much, much better than after I was my hands. It feels extremely smooth and I find it hard to do some tricks(mainly charge based tricks).
I was wondering if this was to do with the pen I spin(MSXA), or does it happen to you all? And if so, what can I do?
