Board Comments / Rule Issues

I have two concerns.
1) The first is that the rules regarding offensive content should also apply to the blogs. I feel that the content of Cybrax's blog is inappropriate and that, ipso facto, the entries should be removed and he should be given a warning.
2)QUOTERules may be applied in a different context without warning. Moderators reserve the right to circumvent all those rules if need be.
I need some clarification on "applied in a different context without warning". What would be an example of 'a different context'? Also, I don't feel moderators should be allowed to avoid the rules under any circumstances because every problem should be resolvable without needing to break the rules. Mods, like members, should all be bound equally by the set of rules. -

the last line means if you do something very serious, we can skip all the warnings and give you a ban straight up. Basically the last line gives us freedom to modify our rules if needed (rare) so that people don't try to find loopholes.
and the mods don't have to apply all the rules. For example, rule 9 doesn't make sense for a mod.
different context means outside the board, so the blog would be included, yes. -

Ok, thanks for the clarification. There is still an objectionable entry though.
