Advanced Tricks / NeoSonic Rise/Fall?

Is this even possible? I tried doing it but was completely unable to see how it could be done.
The main question here is can a Neosonic 34-23 or 23-12 be executed?
When I try from 23, for instance, should I slip my middle finger under the pen so it will get into 12?
Please don't move this, this is specifically about Neosonic Rise/Fall and not the trick alone. -

No I don't think this can be done, but I could be wrong. I thought that the whole point of the neosonic is to get the pen in the thumb-slot. It would be possible if it were Neosonics followed by Fingerless TA Reverses, I guess.

This is one of my replies from a Research Department thread...
QUOTE (sketching @ Oct 1 2007 @ 09:23 PM)How strict should NeoSonics be? Where should the official catch be?
If NeoSonic does not have to end in the T1 slot or in the Thumbflap, then you do things like NeoSonic 34-12 fairly easily, it then becomes a hybrid of Fingeraround Reverse ~ Inverse Sonic. Doing a NeoSonic with as flat a hand as is possible, the pen only does 0.5 rotation from the 23 slot to the T1 slot, the extra 0.5 comes from the Thumb's position and needing to rotate more to reach it normally. Going from 34-12 only needs 0.5 rotation.
Example: NeoSonic 34-12 ends up being:
Fingeraround Reverse 34-23 [p][s 0.5] ~ Inverse Sonic 23-12 [c]
Edit: here's a video showing the usual NeoSonic 23-T1, followed by two "NeoSonics Normal 34-12" hybrid combos...and a Backaround.
....that didn't make it past the suggestion phase. Probably would do more to confuse people making NeoSonic a hybrid.
NeoSonic ends in the thumbflap, so Rise/Fall combos don't work. You would have to use other tricks to get the pen into other slots. NeoSonic 34 > Pass T1-23 > NeoSonic 23 > Pass T1-12 > NeoSonic 12... is just another combo. -

Alright, I guess that settles this thread.
