Yeah, be the record holder for anything. And would be a awsome way to pass the time.

That depends whether I spammed fingerpasses or being better than Eriror and Saizen.

If there's no challenge in it, I don't really see it being exciting or fun. Like would you play golf if no matter how hard you tried, you got a hole-in-one every time?

It would probably get boring after a while.

lol. *tries to drop pen on table, does a hand around 25.5*

You would still need to work on smoothness, linkages etc.

If I could just be a perfect PSer I would only spin to show off to other people, no point practicing there would be no challenge which makes that part fun

It's like cheating in a video game and having god mode on. It's fun for a while, but then it gets boring.

Yeah, I agree. It wouldn't be that fun for that long, I learned that when I hacked in maplestory >_>

this is vague, idk what u mean when u say that
u can spin but not drop it but that doesnt rly mean
    doing hard tricks
so u can basically fail but not drop it.
    eh w/e

Well I already am perfect and i still enjoy penspoinning (jk)

But i think itd make pen spinning a lot more enjoyable because itd be a lot better because you wouldnt get fustrated trying to learn a trick.

but its like games again, while now we don't have the "cheat" on, we wish we did.

likewise. we can't spin perfectly, but we wish we could.

i still dont get what perfection in ps means
    like perfecting a combo? huh.gif
or not dropping the pen ever?
    wth

If you never dropped your pen, that would mean you could try any trick, and not drop it, but would you necesserilayalaly (I can't spell) be able to do the trick properly?

  17. Tialys
    Date: Sun, Oct 12 2008 03:17:56

Never dropping the pen means you would somehow be able to catch it or would do a different fluke trick if your intended trick was unsuccessful. You would still have to practice balancing the pen on your thumb to master a TS 10.0, for example.

But the fun in PenSpinning goes...There will be no competitions..the only perfection you can get is balance and speed..no fun in learning tricks..idk

yeah i voted no. Half the fun of penspinning is that satisfying feeling of landing a hard combo after consistently failing it.

I say no ... I still wanna be able to learn something new and something to play with.

I don't want to succeed EVERY time .. plus, where would the fun be? tongue.gif

    Hey, its fun!

Although it might get pretty boring at times but it'll still be appealling.

if execution was perfect, PS would still be good, but the focus would be different.

ppl would spend more time on creativity since that's not something included in execution.

also even execution wise, it won't be about difficulty but about smoothness and speed. kinda like running; everybody can run, so running competition is not about being able to run, but being able to run fast/a long time.
