I Recently Discovered this pen on a trip to Rite Aide. In Fact not actually a pen it uses a Graphite type ink and is erasable. But that is irrelevant, since the pen can't write XD. And so I gave the intriguing pens grip a feel and it was squishy . . . I instantly knew this would make a great double sided mod. And So bought 2 for the experimental Mod. After about 30 min I Created this:

    Spoiler:

Name of Pen Modification: Squishy Grip Mod (SGM)
    Center of Gravity: COP
    Length in Centimeters: 20cm
Weight in relative terms: A little less than the I-MX
    Style: Double-sided, Non-writable
Estimated cost: $6 was the price for both pens

    Pens Needed:
    2 Pentech LE2 Liquaphite Pencils

    Materials Needed:

    Needle Nose pliers
    Wire Cutters
    Small Tooth Saw
1 Cylindrical Chop Stick (Must be over 17cm)
    Scotch Tape
File (Not required but will refine the metal pieces)

Here is the exploded View of the pen:

    Length Example:

    Spoiler:

    Spoiler:
    Step 1:
Take apart your pens And Keep all the pieces on the left

    Step 2:
Use your pliers to remove the clip off of the Plastic tubing

    Step 3:
Cut the Plastic tubing (Do not cut on the threaded Side!) Cut it at size 5 cm

    Step 4:
Cut the Plastic tubing (Do not cut on the threaded Side!) Cut it at size 3.5 cm

    Step 5:
Screw on the Tips into the plastic tubing be Sure to place tape at the ends of the plastic tube so your metal sheaths will fit snugly (1-2 layers will work)

    Step 6:
Saw down both of the metal sheaths to about the size of 4.3 cm (Or 4 3/10 cm) [I Suggest a Horizontal Cut because it will be less likely you will screw up]

    Step 7:
Cut your chopstick to about 17 Cm Place tape along the middle so it will fit snugly (Only need 1-2 layers), Color or place inserts at the ends for some flashiness to your SGM.

    Step 8:
    Assemble the pen

Congratulations on your new Squishy Grip Mod

    Spoiler:
Question: Whats the difference between a bevel cut and a Horizontal Cut?
Answer: The Bevel will add more grip but is difficult to make, while the horizontal is easy but will require use of tape

Question: Where can I find this pen?
Answer: Can be found at; CVS, Longs, Duane Reade, Raley’s, K-Mart, Wal-Mart, Brooks-Eckerds, Rite-Aid, Target, KB toy store, and Toys
    R' Us OR E-mail Pentech[ http://www.pentech.net/contact.php ]

Question: Can you place LED's in this pen?
Answer: MAYBE! I'm looking into it.

Question: Can you remove the design on the barrel?
Answer: Easily, First day of spinning removed a lot of the design, so eraser alone would work.

    Anybody Make the mod yet?

Not yet, but looks nice. How squishy are the grips?

I think the thing that discourages people from making this mod is the fact that it requires cutting the metal barrel.

Actually, The metal sheath Is very thin in fact I had to throw out my first mod because it's bevel cut sucked, and because it got bent when I dropped it. I found it just as easy as cutting a Bic Round Stic Grip.

-The Squishy Grips are removable with X-Acto blade, and contain a gel-like liquid.
-Possible sub grips so far found out are; Dr. Grips (If the grip is thick enough can fit on it alone, if not placement of another grip is in order)

You should update your original post with the 2 new videos and a weight comparison would be nice (ex: mx < squishy grip, etc).
