I frequently use a bictory mod with a soft feel barrel http://www.staples.com/sbd/img/cat/enl/s0070582_enl.jpg
Now I'm trying to use a RSVP MX and it seems harder to use. I'm thinking its because the barrel has less grip on it.
Any solutions to glossy barrels or my problem?

Yeah, it kinda feels like the flexgrip.
I'm wondering if you stick with grip barrels longer will you actually be worse on glossy barrels O_O

No way... I was on grip barres for half a year, it helps your spinning to make the change sooner though, because a lot of tricks are easier with glossy barrels.

you're just going to have to get used to it, I guess the way to "fix" it is to keep on using the barrel you feel most comfortable with.

    +1

it makes tricks easier to pull off like bakfalls, which you can then take to other pen mods

    Hm...
    I'll keep those in mind.
My question now is should I keep using my grip bictory and switch to RSVP MX later?

Try using a thicker barreled pen if you just cant spin without no grips, if you are really still having problems experiment with using grips as training wheels on slicker bodied pens.. Bictory is hard to spin without grips for some people, so I reccomend just a long marker of some sort to go to first.
