Didn't know where to post this so I thought that this would be the best place to post this.

I need some help with connecting the dots on how to make up good combos. Should I just like practice more tricks more? How will I know when I am good enough to make descent combos? What is a descent combo? Please don't show me a Eriror combo to show me what a good combo is. I have seen Eriror's videos, I know, he's awsome. But when do I know that I have created a good combo, whats in a good combo. And tricks that you guys would suggest I learn? Any think on this would help alot. I just need to connect the dots to be able to create good combos.

    Spoiler:
    for refrence, tricks I know:
    TA
    TA rev
    FL TA rev
all sonic maps, like 23-12 34-23
    neo sonic
    all neobaks
    TW sonic
    inverse sonic
    warped sonic
    TW sonic bust
    Ext. TA
    shadow
    devil's shadow
    korean bak
pretty much trying to get the point across that I don't think that im a noob, but I still might be, thats why I need to be able to connect the dots

What a truly good combo is is a display of everything you can do, you don't have to know hard tricks or anything, just tricks done to the best of your ability. What really makes a combo good is if it shows your style.

There's a lot of questions asked here. When you yourself feel satisfied with your spinning, then you can place a marker saying "yeah, I think I'm decent enough at this point in time." Of course, making videos helps and getting feedback can give you a more defined way of placing yourself.
Creating combos is done on your own. What many people, including myself, do is take very well known mini-combos and arrange them differently and add and subtract things here and there. Another thing you can do is try to imagine a central effect you want to show off then build the tricks and flow around it. There's no guidelines on how to MAKE combos. You just do it. That's the purpose of making a combo. To take what you know and arranging it a certain way to show off your skill. We, as fellow board members, can only tell you if you're doing it smoothly and quickly, or choppy and slowly. We can't ACTUALLY say if it's a "good" combo or not. When someone says a combo isn't good, they're only complaining about certain characteristics of the combo they didn't like.

    So yeah, just do it.

I agree with Eso about the mini-combo thing.

I have a bunch of mini combos that I have become very proficient at. I just link the ones together that go together and everything works smoothly.

yes i think mini combos are a good idea, from ur trick list u might want to try TA rev =>tw sonic=>TA and that can go on forever, just keep repeating it.
also try tw sonic 34-23=>neo sonic 23-1T=>FL TA rev to bak. after a while of doing mini combos u get a lot more smoother and u can start doing longer combos

    You just need:

    1. Smoothness
    2. Creativity

Just link up everything to the best of your ability.
