Dear all Brisbane people (uh ...1?)
Being tired of being the lone spinner at uni, (no points at lonefang) and being quite envious of the monthly french spinning community gathering. So.. ive decided to hold a gathering during the holidays. reason im posting this so early is to try to inform as many people as possible. Now ill be able to bring 2 or 3 people, who do use modifed pens to spin as well as myself. What we'll do that day is open for discussion, but its just for fun and leisure, so bring anyone who can spin or well if not then bring them anyway.
...But if anyone from interstate is comming to bribane for the holidays then I could base the date around then. if your not comming to brisbane at that time then surely you can make some new holiday arrangements. =] -

far as im concerened your the only other brisbane spinner in this board so youll be pretty
important.
..well we have months anyway.
so ill post some cool pen spinning spots:
suncorp plaza
roma street (so biG and out of no WHERE!)
QUT botanical gardens!!
Myer shopping centre
all are easy to get to via transport. getting to other players like movies or food would be
easy too. im voting on roma street for now, nice and peacful
but if anyone has any ideas thad be great.

anyways. i think a good place to go would be the valley. we can shop for pens in all those novelty shops, discount places, and hopefully korean stores will have bucket loads of comssas.

ok. so far i have fire ant. BUT not to worry!
apparently there is a group of beginning psers in brisbane boys grammer. ive spoken to them and ive
sent them an invitation to join the forum and the meeting.
pen ninja is workign diligently to come to brisbane. he'll be the guest of honor hence everyone (including people form sydney) should
also attempt to have a nice brisbane holiday. ill base the meeting around his comming so.
chummy you keep working with it.
i can get maybe 2 others to come but beginniners, as least they are interested.
schedual (rough) :
11:00 -- Meet up, intoductions
11:30 -- Lunch, pen spinnning in front of mcdonanlds whoot!
12:00 -- city pen hunting begins.
stores:
big w!
woolworths
random newsagencies
Officeworks
cool office supply shop that i found the other day. has a good array
of different pens.
1:00 --to the valley for more pen hunting!
-random asian stores/discount stores to find a source of asian pens.
2:20 -- roma street. pen spinning the rest of the afternoon.
5:00 - ice scream shop has 50% of all ice cream. hence $8 for a litre of ice cream. win.
5:30- final spinning, good bye.

the date will have to priotise around pen ninja if he is comming. followed by
whoever else, followed by what day the stores are open, preferable a week day, followed
by whenever the ice cream shop is 50% off which is on weekdays.
so ideally...pen ninja will come on a weekday. xD and chummy will somehow make it and
those grammar boys will respond. -

penninja if your going to come, the super smash bros brawl meeting is 16 / 17th every month, so it would be good to schedual your comming around then if you also want to play brawl. they play melee too xD so bring your gamecube controller as well.

ok ive got another friend of mine in. so its 4 now. ill keep working on getting at least 7 people. I havnt
heard from the brisbane grammar people yet.
