Pen Modifications / Is there a modded pen that can be used as an actual pen?

Well is there? I was about to make the RSVP MX but when I learned that there's actually no pen in it, I was disappointed. I find it highly ironic that I'm asking for a pen that can write.

The reason why I'm asking is because i"m a student. If I got the RSVP MX, then I would have to continually switch from a spinning pen to a normal pen. Not only would that look weird (two separate pens for two separate purposes), but it's also annoying as crap.

Also, as a side note; What's a good color combination with a white, black, and silver HGG? I was thinking Impact MX but since I'm not really a professional, I'm asking you guys.

A RSVP MX can write it has the ink reversed you write out the backcap

The RSVP MX can write, just take the cap off and put it on the "front" of the MX; the ink should be reversed and sticking out of the back cap.

    Edit: Awesome... :[

Any MX variation can write out of the back.

Color combination is up to your preference. I honestly would not know how to mix those three together, but thats just me. I'm sure someone like TEK could make it look good though.

What made you think that you can't write with it. Your obviously doing something wrong. And only 1 hgg is used fyi.

To make it write out of its front end, you might consider the MP MX(mechanical pencil MX).

TEK's version(not recommended, since pen used is hard to find)

hahah i laughed so hard when i saw this.

i laugh cuz i was given a lot of crap cuz i used to make pens that didnt write all the time, specifically for spinning cuz i liked very little weight in the middle of the barrel. kam and others were the ones that said that "it wasnt a pen if it couldnt write. its a stick." and Kam made the MX. so yeah, i dunno where you learned how to make an MX, but it does in fact write, along with most pens around here i would hope.

Hi Pongo, as others have mentioned, both the MX and Impact MX do write from the back of the pen (the reverse side, if you will), so you must have gotten some wrong information.

In fact, a lot of pen mods do write, but there are also those that don't. If you look in the approve tutorials forum, the mod tutorials should tell you whether the pen is writable or not.

PS: This is regarding pen mods, not regular pens, so I'm moving this to pen mods forum.

pen mods that cannot write can easier be made writable though...
like the Grip Avaire, some people have GAs that write.

    Comssas also write...
SPINZ series of pens also do
    and many more
but i guess the MX is most famous around here

for a lot of stuff... just make a hole in the (usually) backcap of whatever pen, and put in either the inktube of rsvp or of bic round stick (use pliers to pull out the brown front tip and inktube). Voila.
