Hello, this is thespinner 3.5 with his first mod, made in July 2008. I was too lazy to make it until now, finally. The mod is made of a marker actually.
Backstory: I had doubled capped a Mr. Sketch Stix Marker and added bic caps(making it V1). Then later on I tried to give it a Flexible MX look and that's when I came up with the Mss Mod by adding an RSVP cap and chenqi .5 pen top. I dubbed it MSS NFMX(Near Flexible MX) or just Mss Mod. Now I spin it like crazy!!
Mod Info:
Length: 23cm
COG: 12.5 cm
Weight: about as much as a comssa metallic
Mometeum is great in my opinion
Materials Needed:
RSVP- Cap
Mr. Sketch Stix Marker- Body and Cap
Chenqi Pilotage .5 mm(heard of this pen?)- top(grip and tip, screws right off)
Instructions:
this is very simple to make, no cutting or nothing like that
step 1- place MSS cap at the end of MSS marker- http://www.badongo.com/pic/4861811

step 3- screw off the chenqui pen top- http://www.badongo.com/pic/4861863
step 4-attacht the chenqui pen top on the marker side of the marker- http://www.badongo.com/pic/4861830
secure everything and you have the MSS MOD!
The pen is light but doesn't feel like after you get use to it
Very great for spinning
an annoyance can definitely be the RSVP and mss marker caps, they come off if they hit a hard enough surfare and sometimes when a lot of pressure is placed on the mod, this can be fixed by gluing the mss cap onto the marker
Well I finally got this mod released, finallyyy!! now i gotta get working on V3
I also like calling my mod MSS MODO and Neo Nameo MODO(and saying it a hundred times lol)
now make my mod!! -

I noticed that a lot of new tutorials require some strange pen that no one has ever heard of.
For example:
the materials you will need to make blah blah mod are an RSVP, HGG, Signo Tip, and a Ujunkityokigi Ball Sign Pen
what is up with that? if people can't get such pens, I really don't know how the tutorial is going to prove useful.

Is the tip plastic? Kinda look like a Signo 207 tip -

yep, I've noticed it too and well I guess I've done it too
i knew the chenqi (and not so much the MSS) could possibly bring this up, but well I think its pretty good for my first mod, it fits my hands(I hope yours' too), and wanted to release it, badly, and the chenqui can be bought online, if you can
and yes the tip is plastic
and note, I will have pics up Thursday, so it can be approved -

why would you add a plastic tip!?!??!
dude... all this is, is an elogated stick.
You have no momentum, no special grip, no weight at all, it uses difficult to find pens, its not visually appealing,and its a waste of an rsvp cap.
This will go nowhere. -

Ive spun this b4 cuz I go to the same school as him. Its pretty good and spins kinda like a comssa even though it has a plastic tip. I'll make one after I find the pens.

The pen is friggin 23 cm long!!! its like spinning a freakin huge ass stick... Read my comments above.
All you did was make something that anyone could make... except if someone else made it... they would find easier parts.
THATS why this isn't ever going to be an approved tutorial/mod. -

Errr. Some people like long pens... my friend spins a damn 27cm BICtory with freaking flexgrip tips on each end...
Even though it is long, it has really awesome momentum! -
