I don't know if this should need a new thread, but I posted this video in the What Am I Doing? thread and many doubts were genered:
Are these tricks new stalls? Can they be considered stalls? Or are not, because I don't balance the pen? So, cann they be considered new tricks? Do they need a new category?
Here they are:
As I said, all credits for the 1st one go to Challenges from SPSC. -

stalls is really a grey area, like aerials, because there hasn't been a lot of reserach done with them yet, so there are still many concepts left to discover.
so i would say for now you can name these whatever you want,
in the future when we have a better idea of how many stalls they are, we can work a better system, jhust like we did with hybrids. -

i think i'd call it a 'hold'
like 'middlehold' or 'palmhold'
but may i ask, are you double jointed?
i honestly don't understand how to move the top philanx on its own like that -

I used to be able to do this when I was younger (bend the top finger joint independently)
What I did was force it like that with my other hand a lot during class for a month, and I was able to do it. -

HAHA
i did the SAME thing when i was about 10
i forced it there and eventually i could do it.
but some people are double jointed and can bend it in.
but you can tell the difference between learning it, and double jointed from the top of there finger, you could see the dramatic change. -

And since I'm 13, by younger I mean ~10.

I can do it with every finger. Never had to force it. =)

I guess it could be put as a new trick as no one has actually thought of it before but name it whatever you like I guess...

Yes, I think "hold" it's a good name, I talked with Challenges and we agreed to call these tricks Palmhold and Middlehold (including Indexhold, Ringhold, Pinkyhold and Thumbhold).
And yes, I think I have a bit of hyperlaxity.
