people seem to be misusing it
A. too much flaming, even in sb
B. not a lot of focus on spinning
C. seems to be more of a posse of random people then a group of people with a similar interest -

its Universal Pen Spinning Board not Universal Pen Spammers Bin... its okay to have an off topic, but when it distracts completely from pen spinning... then it gets annoying
i use this board to learn stuff... half the time, i get crap from SB -

It sometimes seems as if people log onto this board not to talk about pen spinning, or improve there pen spinning, but instead to talk in spammers bin. The focus of the board has kinda shifted from one focal point to another.

in UPSB2, we FORCED ppl to talk about pen spinning by removing OT. The result was that ppl started talking OT everywhere! OT section is NECESSARY, in order to IMPROVE the quality of PSing-related topics. -

My opinion about Eso (I don't know if this is relavent but w/e)
He's quiting because of flamers when his job is to stop them. He's not a good moderator.
I personally think he should suck it up and do his job instead of being arrogant.
Again, he's a good person and all but he does have bad qualities -

Honestly,
I'm the type of person who trys something new for a while (gets addicted), after a few months, gets bored finds something else. I've really kept my intrest in penspinning for a while because of UPSB. I really enjoyed the (interactivy) amongst other spinners, and closeness.
Personally, i see nothing wrong with the "non penspinning topics" as long as the designated "Pen spinning areas" are strictly reserved for Penspinning.

Pen Spinning. Doesnt sound like something very serious doesnt it?
Well add that to the fact that the majority of the members of UPSB are kids.
i.e. that they are really young, immature and sometimes brash.
Flames and arguments, however idiotic, happen.
And if you're not prepared to take that, should you even be here at all?

Im sure there arent many flames, arguments or whatever there.
Lets take Advanced Tricks for example.

A board can not just specify to one thing alone. Everyone will get bored and not come at all. Off topic is needed. Flamers are always going to be there. This is like the 3rd thread to do with flamers. Tbh wtf is everyone's problem.
