For all the people in the know:
This is the thread where we will continue to discuss the follow-up to Webo Splash's original "noobie collab"
For everyone else:
This is a collab in progress designed for the rising middle-level spinners. Sign up here if you ARENT pro, but believe you have made significant progress over the last 4-6 months.
General info:

Well Im definitely IN for this man. I'll come up with a crazy combo to impress you guys hopefully , and to tell you guys that I've improved

I think that this collab isn't for the benefit of the spinners getting recognized anymore, but the big guns showing off their pwning skills.

Sigh if you have such strong feelings about Pholord's prescence, we can collectively forbid him from participating
but would it not be nice for everyone else to see how someone "normal" became so pro? -

Please don't prevent someone from participating because of my actions. I just don't think this collab should be labeled as-is.
Also, I don't remember Pholord ever being not-so-good at spinning.... -

eh...the goal isn't to bloat this collab with professional quality spinning. Yet we want something of acceptable quality, someone that has gone under the radar and wants to be recognized
and pholord was always "higher than usual", but the influx of new members of UPSB don't know that

this collab doesn't seems like such a good idea anymore.
i used to think that it would be great if we could get more people to become recognized.
2 problems:
1. i don't know where some of the spinners have gone.
2. this is becoming a 'pro' dominated collab.
i suggest we just scrape this idea and those who wish to take part can contact others who they feel are on the same level and make private videos.

I have improved a lot since the newbie collab tho. Anyways, I think this collab should just be open to anyone but it will consist mainly of people who were in webo's collab or who have made a lot of improvements in the past few months.

Yes, some spinners WILL be good, but it's about RECOGNITION and IMPROVEMENT
If someone will sign up as video collector/editor, it will breathe life into this project -

i think we should just separate, smaller scale collabs.
it would put pressure on the person editing as he will have to decide which combos he will filter out. its as though some spinners are not as good as others, which rather defeats the point of 'Ascension'.
wouldn't it be better if we made our own private videos, where there is no filtering since the numbers just fit? -

for example, pholord, you, onxy and I can make a collaboration where instead of merely having one combo per person, we could make multiple combos where we can show more linkages/tricks. many a time, when building a combo, i feel like throwing in a certain mini-combo but decide against it as it looks out of place.
just an idea.
or we could just spam solo videos.

The purpose is made to introduce spinners right? What we need is to not be MODEST. If like 5 people think you're pro err something, dont bother joining the collab. Unrecognized spinners are the main priority.
