I dont really have that many pens. I had modified one of my pens but it has gone to hell some where i dont know. Either way i was wondering why am i better with this crapy blue pen rather then my RSVP pen that everyone seems to use the most???
I dont even know the name of this blue pen but it has this awesome gel like quality to it that makes it very easy and more fun to spin. But unlike my RSVP which is heavy and long which I like but it slips way to easy (sounds dirty lol). I have gotten better with it but I don't get the same enjoyment. I'm trying to improve my skills with more common pens that are being used. I dont know if this blue pen is considered cheating in a way but is it all really just practice with my RSVP?
and oh yea i just completely suck with that G-2 PRO
I got all the basics down and got some combos down and I seem to be at a point where I don't see improvement but I'll keep spinning despite that...

You are better with the blue one because that is what you are most use to spinning.
If you tried to get really good with an mx then the situation would reverse and you might be bad with the blue one.
The blue one may seem really good right now but you may find that later on, a pen mod may help you accomplish some of the harder and more challenging tricks. The choice of what you want to spin is yours and I encourage you to spin what you find best.
Edit:The g2 pro is bulky, unbalanced, and rather hard to spin with. You may suck with it but few people can do a lot with it. -

I don't think anyone would say spinning with a regular pen would be considered cheating. I would recommend trying to get accustomed to a mod, but if the blue pen works for you, use that.

the flexgrip blue pen i kinda considered cheating only because the whole pen has a gel like feeling covering the whole pen making it much easier to catch. I've used that RSVP pen just as long as the blue pen now and I guess its just practice... I need to find a nice mod and its to complicated for me to get one on here cuz I only want one and theirs tons of choices. I know this isnt the proper thread to buy a pen but feel free to pm me if you want to sell a nice pen mod.

its not even modded i dont even use it like that =P i just took a pic of it... I had an RSVP I modded but i lost it and pissed cuz it was my only one... i'm just one of those people who spin during class cuz its mad fun and passes time. Also love to spin while waiting for a download to finish by the desk. rarely i'll spin just for the heck of it but i do have the tendency to try and spin anything in my hand such as a spoon or other weird utensils =P -

I'm not sure if I would call that cheating, considering there is a mod that has that gel like feeling you're talking about.
If you want a good mod for beginners, Bictory or RSVP MX is the way to go, easy to make, accessible (I'm assuming you live in the US), and great overall for beginners. But really, spin with what works for you. Don't try to get accustomed to the RSVP if the blue pen works fine for you, same with any other mod unless you find one that seems perfect for you.
If you don't want to spin with either Bictory or the MX, check other good beginner mods here.

ur rsvp is modded poorly (no offence) so the front has more weight than the back. try making a rsvp v1

well if ur better with the blue pen then try to create a mod for that pen
but in my opinion, i would just get the parts and make an mx, not just double cap a R.S.V.P.
