The 2009 New Years Collab is now being organized.
It will feature the top 3 spinners in each of these teams:

-yogurt theme: Everyone spins with yogurt in their background or at a yogurt store or something
-School: PS in school
-Odd locations YR edition (get permission from teq to do this): name probably says it all.
-dangerous spinning: spinning in places where your pen might die
-streetz: spinning in public areas -

I've got an idea.
Why don't we do a YR pen spinning promo?
This promo could be used to both attract people into penspinning and existing PSers into YR.
I got a basic theme to takle the first part:
-boredom
-attention grabbing.
Here's how it goes:
-someone does homework by writing an essay and halfway he stops. Bored or thinking, we don't know.
-he starts tapping his pen on his work. The words "Bored from homework?" appear.
-He does a TA harmonic. The words "stuck on essays?" Appear.
-He does another TA harmonic. The words "Or just want to attract attention?" come up.
-as soon as the words disappear, he starts breaking out into a combo ending with a palmspin. (can be changed)
-Zoom in on palmspin and fade.
-feature other spinners and their combos.
-after a few combos, clip goes back to the first guy with homework.
-he does a final combo and ends in a writing position.. pretending to continue his essay.
How's that? The starting guy needs a single sided mod IMO. Doesn't need to be retractable/mp/writable. Just to make it look like a normal pen XD. Maybe just an MX or MX^2.
I still have no idea on how to draw people into YR at the same time XD -

@Glamouraz: If you want to be the guy, you can either:
a. Make an MP MX and pretend to write the essay
b. Pretend to be typing the essay on the computer and just have a pen at your side.
Either way, it's your choice. I like the idea.

I agree with you.
I planned to take a break with the collabs after AM x YR.
Here's my take on the influx of collabs.
Number 1, is that the same spinners take part in all the collabs. While that is not exactly a bad thing, I feel as if it would be nicer if other members could have a chance as well.
Number 2, like you pointed out, YR is being overwhelmed with collabs. It has been just 2 and a half months since the inception of YR, and we've been in 3-4 collabs already. However, we may be one of the most active teams, but come on. A collab almost every month? -

YR is filled w/ members wo also lead oter teams (like me
) so tey find it easy to do a collab wit tis team because we are all quite easily 'accesible' and a bit friendly 
...

i mean i dont recall all 40+ members posting at least one post in this forum, much less staying active. its always the same old people.

However, rather than posting the video, which would result in a messy thread, I've edited the first post to include an archive of past collabs, which we will update as we go along.
