Fundamental Tricks / is charge like spinning a drumstick?

I recently learned how to twirl a drumstick(not the fingerpass way). I couldnt grasp the concept of a charge until I noticed I thought it might be like that. Should I think of the charge as twirling a really thing/small drumstick? If so, the drumstick is much easier to do it on since its longer/thicker. I just need to know if I should think of it that way

Yeah, Iam pretty sure its the same movement, so if you know how to spin a drumstick, you should get the charge fairly easy

Thanks. I can now do it most of the time. I was getting really mad since I couldnt understand the tutorials, glad I get it now.
