    Hi there,

The FPSB recently opened its own wiki, and altough it's not very big right now, I hope it will become a very useful ressource for francophone pen spinners in a not-too-distant future.

I just noticed, on the "Modify" page of our pen spinning wiki, it's written that text submitted there is under the GFDL 1.2 license. I wonder if it is the same on UPSB wiki, but I'm unable to verify because I can't edit articles there (less than 20 posts. It's annoying as hell, because everytime I want to do a trivial modification I have to ask somebody on IRC or elsewhere to do it for me).

That's what I just have done (thanks CookiesLover) and it seems there is no similar mention in UPSB wiki. It means that UPSB wiki is not under any license.
Am I wrong? Is there a license I missed somewhere?

If not, it is impossible to use UPSB wiki for anything other than reading it. It is not legal to make mirrors, printed copies, CDs, or anything like that. And it's not possible to translate articles in order to use them in another wiki. It means that all good work done on writing articles in English for UPSB wiki will have to be re-done in French for the FPSB wiki.

Also, if there is no license, it's impossible to change it now because all the work done on UPSB wiki remains the property of its respective writers. In order to put UPSB wiki under a license, every single person who has made any significative contribution to the wiki would have to give its agreement.

Does anyone has information or opinions on the matter?

uhh i think for tutorials we ask permissino of original creators, for the rest it doesn't matter.
