I was tinkering with my pens again, and thought, why not a MP mod? And I came up with this, which is based on Pen_MakeR's Super G2 mod. It just like a SG2, reversed but unfortunately shorter. Anyways:-
Mechanical Pencil Super G2 mod tutorial
Length: 18.5 cm roughly
Weight: MP SG2 < PSquare MX
COG: COP
Parts needed:
1x Pilot Super Grip MECHANICAL PENCIL not pen
1x Pilot G2
1x Inktube thats around the same width as the leadtube from the supergrip (I used Faber Castell Power Gel)
Tape
Brains
Modding skillz
Step one:
Take apart your pens.. Keep only the parts on the left, keep/ discard the ones on the right.
Step two:
Break the clip off from the G2 barrel, remove the tip from the Pilot Super Grip and keep it. Cut the clip from the supergrip and file it down.
Step three:
Take the Super Grip leadtube, measure 4.1cm from the tip and wrap tape around it to make it thick enough so that it can't pass through the front part of the Super Grip where the tip used to be.
Step four:
Take your extra inktube (not the G2 inktube) and cut it until it is 3.9cm. Then use tape to secure it to the leadtube of the Super Grip. And also wrap enough tape at the end to ensure a snug fit into the part with the eraser.
Step five:
Connect the G2 barrel to the Super Grip barrel. It sould be a nice fit. Then put the mechanism inside the body. If there is still problems, go fix your tape lol
note: you have to put the leadtube inside the body first then only you can place the eraser onto the back part.
Step six:
Use strong tape to secure the Super Grip tip onto the G2 body. Add grips. And wa-la.
Optional steps:
- Put an additional grip at the other end of the pen
- Put an outsert
- Use different grips
- f you want a pen version of this, make the SG2, not this. xD
And there you go.
hope you like it! ^^ -

Only two pens? That's good!
Is there any way of making the supergrip tip on the G2 more stable? If it wobbles, the lead can easily be broken. -
