Sketching's idea for using an eraser won't work for a bic barrel... Does anyone have any suggestions?

If you use acetone you have to be quick and wipe it off asap, because yes it will eat away at the plastic

The text you are trying to remove...is it the kind of text that gets printed on (like the UCPSB bic stic) or is it the kind where the wording is indented into the side of the barrel?QUOTE (K4S @ Oct 14 2007, 06:50 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>The text you are trying to remove...is it the kind of text that gets printed on (like the UCPSB bic stic) or is it the kind where the wording is indented into the side of the barrel?
??? if you mean if i run my finger across it and i can feel it then yes... its not just a simple print. if i want it out i will use a knife but that will mess up the pen -

Someone mentioned before on ucpsb that if it's the kind of print where its indented into the barrel then you cant erase it off...compared to an rsvp where the text is printed on and it can be erased

They have the same print as store bought bics. Those should come off from spinning, easer, or acetone. -

neXus posted something about rubbing the text with a piece of sugar before. Not sure if that works for this too.

i use nail polish remover which i found around the house.
it can get the text of barrels like ballsign with not so much effort.
but for pens which you can feel the ink sticking out, its alot harder. -

Lol no, he has just changed his options to that.
UEDan is male all the way, even though his hair is quite long ;) -

Isn't it better? -
