try and use microsoft words to open the picture and resize it to the desired size on the screen and print and VIOLA! you got it..

That's what I did though. Opened the insert picture file with paint and printed...came out uberly big and dimension couldn't be controlled. -

did you save it when you were in paint? cuz that may have done something to the image dpi. I have the same problem with GIMP, so i use paint to print, but once i accidently saved a 300 dpi image in paint, which saves stuff at 72 dpi, and it came out as you described -

Then go print preview again. If it's still too big or small make it smaller or bigger again. That's what I do always when printing insert.

if you have a word processor like MS Word or OpenOffice Writer, just insert it into a document like that, and it will keep it's original size
