Team Yogurt Revolution / Goal Setting for Pen Spinning?

What do you think? If we set a certain goal to accomplish, obviously our motivation being something as simple as.. to get better in upsb or.. to show off or.. etc. i find goal setting really useful when it comes to beating old records, ex. midbak 1.5, recently beat my old record of 15 and got 21 ^^ but yea..
ideas that can develop from this can be like..
daily goals, this may get a little extreme since i doubt everyone would report every day or something like that but it is helpful...
weekly goals, report every week on how much improvement has gone and such
monthly goals, report every month to say how much progress you made
yearly goals, report what you managed to accomplish over the past year
and most important of all, what you want to improve on is what goal setting is all about. gotta remember that ^^
what do you guys think? i would prefer positive comments.. but negative if necessary.. which i doubt they are ever necessary.. but anyways -

please excuse me for using you as an example xD
for instance you want t olearn rev sonic and bakfall. set a certain time of when you get it down. lets say... december 28th. you can try a everyday reporting here or somewhere saying how much progress you made (possible feedback as well) and hopefully by then you will have mastered rev sonic and bakfall ^^ if it's confusing... nvm but yea.. -

1) I want to get Flush Sonic smooth by next Saturday SUCCESS
2) I want to master continuous Fake Doubles, FL TA's, and Twisted Sonic Busts by the end of this January
(Yeah, kind of ambitious, but I have two weeks off) SUCCESS
3) I hope to get over my camera shyness by the end of next year (hopefully I'll remember this goal.

The main idea is to bring your hand to the back of the pen for every shadow (Below of COG of COP). Do that and you'll get it right.
I can do infinity if I want on 12-12. -

The motive of teams is almost the same everywhere. For personal satisfaction of leader for owning a team (no matter how much they dont show it), motivating the team to get better so as to become one of the best which indirectly means to motivate the spinners to become better.

For Bakfall, practice the individual components first. Then, go back and try to link it together. And when you do, don't try to do it all together at once. Once you've got that down, practice IndexBak to Midbak, Midbak to Ringbak, Ringbak to Pinky back individually and then try to put it all together.
This is how I learned it, and I went from a 0.5/10 success rate to a 9/10 success rate in just three weeks.

BTW goal setting, the main point is to finish it BEFORE the deadline. i mean you can extend the deadline but do that once you reach the last minute of the deadline. then if you don't get it by then think why and try again.

Oh and i got bakfall in 2-3 weeks too Did nothing but practice all day. And I tried to beat my own record. Everyday, I sat down and practiced bakfall and nothing else. (no spinning, doing combos. only bakfalls) I counted how many I could do in a day and my goal for the next day was to beat my previous record from the day before. I went up to like 40-50 bakfalls per day and then i decided to stop lol.. -

eh it's hard for me to judge what i can or can't do cuz i really like to use mods like ballsign or metallic comssa, but when i use kt, like everything becomes easier again - i can do like cont midbak 1.5 5 times consistently (3 times on met. comssa) or like x10 bust on kt and only 3-4 on comssa. so i guess ppl should also think about pen mods when they say that they learn...wait the skill level of this team is mostly low so nvm
yeh but i think i wanna learn ummm...cont bust up to x5 on met. comssa and x13 on kt, up to x5 midbak 1.5 on met. comssa and at least x7 on kt, learn inverse shadow (yeh i have no idea why i never learned that), master cont (i dont know what the name of this trick is) handaround > fl ta rev > palmspin, and master twisted sonic bust to weird hybrid. probably all by end of january

Guys, you're missing the point. Set realistic goals... take them one by one. It's much easier than learning 4 things at once.

I can't practise any harder. In school, I hardly have the time to practise(because of retarded teachers who don't allow us to spin in class, thinking that we'll lose concentration or what not).
And school takes up too much time on average every day. I hardly have the energy/time to practise at home after normal school days. Homework and other personal stuffs like that take up lots of time. So I'm giving myself more time to reach my goal.
I know I can practise on weekends, but UPSB is so addictive that I spend most of my time reading through the threads than spinning. And I don't spam freestyles xD I rather use the time spamming freestyles to think of good hybrids then make a combo.
Thanks for your advice by the way.
