I don't know if this is the right spot, nor do i know if this was discussed before, but...
Okay, I've been wondering about this the whole time, but I got to say, what's with the all the fancy names of a trick?Sonic? I think i can understand that too. You can spin way fast with Sonic, so the expression sonic (speed of sound) was used. Charge, yea it does look like it's preparing to do something because it doesn't move between fingers. Okay i think i can understand that. Twisted sonic? Yes, it definitely looks like a sonic with a twist. So that's a pretty fair name to put. But what's with Angel's sonic or Demon Devil Sonic and those super fancy names? It absolutely makes no sense.
Shadow too. How can that spin be called Shadow? it's kinda awkward.
Shouldn't the name make sense according to the trick?
I'm not saying We should change all the fancy named tricks. I'm just wondering that it's awkwad. I wanted to know how people feel about these names.
P.S. Please delete this topic if it was already discussed before, and if possible, please give me links to that thread. -

Sonic because of a sonic the hedgehog fan
Shadow, because shadow is a character in sonic the hedgehod
Demon's sonic because the finger motion u make while doing it (the shocker lolz...) is supposed to be....demony? claimed Eso
twisted sonic becauase it follows the same path as the motion of a sonic but...its not

Heard that Sonic was named as such because of it's speed.
Shadow = Sonic with 1.5 revolution
And Shadow is a rival of Sonic (I think). See the link nao? -

Well i'm not talking only about Shadow and stuff. How about Devil's sonic? How about Angel's sonic? and all of those which their names can't mean much to the trick

Well I know that Demon's & Devil's was made by nhk_9 , and I think Angel was named by a french guy.

if you read the wiki...
you'll see that the reason those names exist is because those tricks were thought of before the idea of hybrids came into being
people named those hybrids as if they were tricks
after that, it just became too well known, to a point where it would be regressive to remove those names -

demon because when you do the trick, you show the middle finger.
devil because its a variation of demon
angel because its the opposite of devil. -
