Hello, this is my 6th mod tutorial if im not wrong. This time, im gonna do a tut on my newly invented mod, the CLEAR twinart mod/ Singapore KT. I was playing with my spare pen parts during the holidays out of boredom and POOF, I made a clear twinart mod/ Singapore KT! Credits to whoever who made the twinart mod. (Was it Dathroat or ultimatsz?)
Parts Needed:
Pic 1 From Top to Bottom, Left to Right:
2x Sun-star Twinart (Caps)
1x Bic Round Stic Grip (Grip)
2x Pilot G2 (Barrel)
Tips of choice (Signo, Nextage, Dr.grip, etc.)
Optional:
Tips to be put inside the twinart caps (HGG, etc.)
Grips of choice (Dr.grip, Anyball, Sailors, etc.)
Pic 2:
2x Bic Round Stic Grip (Front part, with the plastic tip cut off)
So in total u would need:
2x Pilot G2
2x Bic Round Stic Grip
2x Sun-star Twinart
Tips of choice

Assembly:
1) Connect the two G2 barrels using the Bic Round Stic Grip's grip. It should fit in nice and tight.(Not too tight that it might cloud or crack the G2 barrels so no worries)
2) Cut off the ends of the G2 barrel. Remember to file the nubs inside the ends of the G2 barrel so that it would not cut your insert later.
3) OPTIONAL: Now, take the front parts of the bic round stic grip and tape the tips that you want to put inside the caps on the cut off area of the front part.
COMPULSORY: Tape the front part so that the cap fits onto it tightly. It should look like this.
4) Now, put in the inserts into the barrel and make sure the front parts of the bic round stic grip fits in there nice the tight. This requires some trial and error so I recommend you guys using a white paper and get the dimensions needed for the insert on your G2 first before printing them and cutting them out.
5) Attach the front part, along with the caps and your done!! Spin away!!
Extra Modifications:
1) You can make the mod writable by keeping the plastic tip on the front part of the bic round stic grip so that u can attach the inktubes. But it might cause some rattling when spinning the mod so u might need to wrap some tape on the inktube to thicken it so that you can prevent the rattling. But if u wish to make it writable, you cant attach tips onto the front part.
2) You can make it E2B (Easy to bring) by attaching the G2 barrels using Guitrums G2-E2B method here. Credits to him for inventing that method of connecting the G2 barrels.

This mod is way lighter than the original twin art mod right? Sad for the original twinart mod users.
But good job on this

The caps are attached to the body using the front part of Super Grip pens. Cut off at the start of the barrel and the screw-threads in the front. Insert the thin part into the body of the Zig, and tape the parts that remain out so the caps fit tight. Tape around the base of the tips so they fit tightly on the caps.

The two G2 barrels connected together is just 0.3cm longer than a zig clean colour body.
EDIT: So technically speaking, its 0.3cm longer than the original twinart. -

The twinart's not mine. Its iNoob. Its as known as the Singapore KT btw. And dathroat created and uses it.

hey, where did you find Sun-star Twinart in singapore? and is the mod heavy? cuz it looks epic awesome and if i can find the twinart i'll wanna make it

You can find Twinarts in the 'bigger' Popular outlets in Singapore.
This mod is heavy if you use G2 EX Tips,but lighter if you use Signo tips.
I would recommend using Signo tips though.
