so ive been wondering... how do some people spin so fast?
like eriror, chautran, kuzu, makin, etc...
does it just come naturally? or do you practice the same combo over and over?
or do you just know the single trick/mini combos so well that it just comes to you?

RYO from JEB spins extremely fast. So does sunrise I think. Most Japanese spin very fast.
I don't know. It's more like people do tricks that involve using speed. You can't do backaround fall smoothly without certain amount of speed. I guess when they do hard tricks, they spin fast so that the tricks can be done like in a flow. Better example might be doing TA > FL TA > Handaround > indexaround > T1 around 2.0 bust. Do you think this trick can be done slowly? No. At least I don't think so.
Reason is probably because they are combining too many hard tricks, that it unconsciously becomes fast. And because of that speed, even the normal non-hard tricks become super fast with the flow.
Of course there are people who can spin slow and do extremely hard trick combos (liek bonkura). I'm just trying to answer your question. -

well.. first of all, Ryo does NOT spin fast at all. hes moderate at best.
and i dont think they spin fast just because they include hard tricks... its more or less about their want to spin fast or
it just comes naturally with their skill and skill at performing mini combos so well
but thats just me.

it's more of a personal preference + mods
i used to think i spun slow, but now i realized i'm more like bonkura, maybe faster when performing
the way u do minicombos/what u do also affects it -

I can spin as fast as I want but can only do basic tricks...
no arounds...yeah KKKentei is fucking fast lol he turns 20 sec combos into 10 sec or less combo lol -

and, about cont. busts some people do it slowly like lSparKl but spinner peem does it moderately fast

imo its because of the mini combos you like to do them as habit
well ..... , lots of people with fast speed also do it as fast as in the vid in live spinning -

Yeah, to the point that even the camera couldn't catch it.
I kinda prefer slow to moderate speed though, such as Bonkura and Spinnerpeem. Ayatori, SEVEN, kUzu are preferred too.
This is why I don't really like watching Eriror spin, not because I hate him, just that I don't really like his style although his skills are pretty good. -

and i personally think they are faster than others anyway

I have never really liked it when people spin really fast. It becomes hard to tell the tricks apart, if you can't slow the video down. It becomes less about the tricks one does and more about just watching the pen move around quickly. And if that is all there is to it, why then even bother varying the tricks, one could just as well do all sonic rise/falls, double charges and harmonic TAs. It would have the same effect.

i think in one of raimo's solo videos there was this comment that said "this guy is pretty kind, he lets people see what tricks he's doing, unlike some retards who do it so fast they're like noobs"

Yes I think people should spin more slowly. Not so much because I want to do a breakdown of what they are doing, but because it makes the distinct visual features of each trick stand out more clearly. What is the point of spending time learning devil's shadow 34-34, if it then just ends up looking like a regular shadow 34-34 because you do it so quickly. -

Spinning fast gives a better twirlight effect, and it looks harder. Me I spin with simple tricks, but when spinning fast it looks great, do you think?
Some people have some muscles in their fingers, like Eternal spinning Air MS very fast ^^ -

Yeah, sorry, that just means you can't break the combo down properly on your own. I have no problems watching ANY fast spinner and seeing what they do.
I think that spinners should be able to spin the way they want to. I enjoy slow and fast spinners alike.
Anyway, I don't believe I spin fast in the first place.

It doesn't matter actually. Like here, examples.
DONGZA, really fast at spinning, like his hands are on FIRE! and its nice. sam goes for Eriror.
And Bonkura and s777, these guys spin/spun slowly and its also awesome...
So it doesn't really matter, you just have to have a style of your own. -

I'm sorry I don't have your internal slowmo vision mode, there are a lot of spinners out there who spin so fast, that I can't or at least have hard time seeing what they are doing. i personally dont like slow spinning cuz it reminds me of bokura's and s777's which i absolutely despise(no offense to spinners and fanboys, i just dont like the style). i like fast, but not really jerky spinning. i like fast and kinda relaxed =D mine spinning is fast but kinda jerky >_>

it depends really, i mean, if it is like kuzu and it is super smooth and what not, then its cool, but if someone tries to hard to spin fast then it looks really jerky. same with slow spinning......

some styles would look ugly when spun too fast or too slow, it all depends...
