Wow! nice work Pen Ninja! it'll be sad to see you leave our team... you're like our best spinner xD. But I guess team Encore is the next step to improve your pen spinning skills. In the long run it is probably the best decision for you pen spinning I guess.
All the best! -

wtf r u talking about? -
Date: Mon, Feb 9 2009 22:35:26
I don't know.. I'm just babbling on...
Oh by the way, I don't beleive in Al Gore's Great global warming swindle!! its all for money for research... Global warming isn't caused due to "greenhouse gases", it due to solar activity.
Greenhouse gases only explain why things get hotter... it doesn't explain why Europe has had a very cold winter, or why the ocean temperatures a lower than usual... and it definately doesn't explain why temperatures in the middle ages were, on average, higher than they are now... I'm definately sure they weren't burning millions of tonnes of coal and emmitting all those "deadly" greenhouse gas emissions back then... -

Fire Ant you bloody american.
-
Date: Tue, Feb 10 2009 10:08:40
rly i think its bs, i just needed lolz to change the topic
sure we may be letting out the gasses, sure they could be heating up the planet... but its not doing anything noticable, al's graphs are bs and quite impossible... we shld continue not caring -
Date: Wed, Feb 11 2009 00:26:33
Penja is 100% correct... the effect is soo small, it has next to no effect. Solar activity on the other hand is much more influential on the conditions on Earth.
So continue to drive your cars and use your aircon... don't make yourself suffer for NOTHING! -
Date: Wed, Feb 11 2009 13:38:12
i aggree with you two aswell
also, the amount of carbon and other 'greenhouse gases' that are released by volcano activity is even greater then what we have emitted, seeing as how the earth has existed for millions and millions of years
bottom line, WE DONT CONTRIBUTE SHIT -
Date: Thu, Feb 12 2009 12:36:26
Yeah your right Randomhero!
The amount of 'greenhouse gases' in the atmosphere is small to begin with. If we break down the atmosphere, it consists of:
78.08% nitrogen, 20.95% oxygen, a variable amount (average around 0.247%, National Center for Atmospheric Research) water vapor, 0.93% argon, 0.038% carbon dioxide, and traces of hydrogen, helium, and other "noble" gases (and of volatile pollutants).
Wikipedia
So carbon dixoide in the atmosphere is 0.038% of all the total gases. Now the amount of CO2 that comes from natural resources, such as the ocean, volcainos, ice caps etc. contributes about 99% of this 0.038%. That leaves 1% of 0.038% due to humans. So that means that humans contribute, overall 0.0038% of CO2 to the atmosphere. Thats so small, it rounds to 0. Nothing that small could have such a great effect on the global temperatures.
Heres a graph with temperature and solar activity. The difference between them is very small. It almost matches up prefectly.
And here's one with CO2 emissions over almost the same period. Try matching this one up with the temperature on the one above... the general trend is wrong... it doesn't match up at all. -
