I would like to know your top 5 pens! (not the mods). They may are not relied to penspinning, but I would like to know them, however. Please, no images(links are be correct). A description of why would be appreciated.My top 5:
5-pilot v-pen (writes well!)
4-crayola washable marker (first mod)
3-papermate profile(discovered by founding it on the floor)
2-pentel hybrid gel grip(best grip ever!)
1-pentel rsvp(mx forever!) -

i dont really have a top 5 yet, i just know that the PhD pen is my favorite, its all ive ever spun and its evenly weighted. and the ink last forever.

I don't really have a top 5 either, but I really enjoy the Pilot Better Retractable. Now it disappeared for some reason.
BIC Crystal is awesome for spinning, just add a pencil eraser to the back side. This is the pen I write/spin with 90% of the time.

Alpha-Gel Multipen/MP cause its 2 pens and 1 mp and really squishy grip
Alpha-Gel Shaker MP cause its a shaker and a mp and squishy grip
Alpha-Gel Slim MP cause its thin a mp and squishy grip
Aqua-Lip Gel Pen cause if you write on someone the ink doesn't come off easily
Syntech Pentech cause they have the pen in different versions pen, gel pen, mp and I like the grip -

1. papermate profile -for writing large blocks of text really quickly, eg/ writing drafts for english. i manage to get 4 words per line with my messy writing. i was going to show you proof of my 4 words per line, but i haven't got my essay back yet with my draft, so i'll have to show you my 6 words per line average

2. papermate kilometrico -i like the ink, it writes nicely, doesn't flow quite as well as teh profile, but i use it for when i want to actually be able to read my writing
3. dr. grip shaker -great mechanical pencil, the only time i get to use it is in japanesee though
4. zebra nu spiral -looks pretty
5. bic ultra round stic fine -normal bic round stics dont write as well as the fine ones -

I've found the Flexgrip Elite Retractable Ballpoint Pen very nice by itself. Better than the RSVP's (no mods) by a LONG shot on certain tricks (that require good grip, I'm looking at you, charge)

As you can see, the whole pen is "grip". Of course I can't do some tricks on this because of that at the moment. It writes well too. xD
For the tricks that need slippage (cough Shadow, Backaround) I enjoy the RSVP, however. (If you have an RSVP why not make it an RSVP V1 (w/ no other items), while you're at it, but for the sake of the topic, oh well..) -

well if u want a good normal pen for spinning i would v.highly recomend the staedtler triplus ball pointpen.
it is gripped all over, reasonable well blanaced and comfortable to use. also its almost the size of a RSVP MX so good in that respect too.
