    Took two days for me.

Here's a good way to look at it: pretend like you're scratching the back of your thumb, then try it with the pen there.

I know it sounds weird but it's how I learned smile.gif

while doing the trick, you will neeed to move your thumb a bit upwards in order to let the pen turn around it

or else you will be doing a fake reverse lol

and also while your index finger is pusing the pen, your othere fingers will need to stay still or else the pen will fall

    it isnt a hard trick,do your best ^ ^

for me, i learnt it after 2 weeks, I had problems getting the pen to move, cause when I scratch, it won't budge. but don;t wory, just keep doing it and the pen movement will come soon enough

I think it took me about a week to learn TA reverse. The pen scratching concept helped me get it.

This trick was hard for me until i learned how to catch it, that was the hardest part for me but its basically all in the way you rotate and move our thumb but all that will really help is to just practice it. =]

I was failing hard, then I had a great moment after about a week where I just got it. I can do it 99.9% of the time now, and I've only been able to do it for a week.

    4 days
    yeah use the scratching motion

at the end, lift ur thumb up a little

ur index should end near where the upper knuckle (w/e u call it)
    of ur thumb

open ur hand a little to catch it
    hope it helps?

edit: is this reviving old threads? its 2 days old

You shouldn't worry coz everyone learns things at different amounts of time. But most importantly, patience is they key happy.gif

I failed so many times its too hard to count. LOL i remember finding a piece of paper with tricks i should learn like 5 months after spinning and on the top was TA rev. BTW i learned everything on that piece of paper i found. yay for me

  32. illogitech
    Date: Sun, May 31 2009 06:03:15

I tried for a week then stopped, now that my hands are a bit more nimble I get it just about every time. I think a big help for me at least was doing a TA then the TA rev.

Like what eso says, " put the pen 90 degre angle frm ur thumb to ur index, and give it a lot of room. Then use all those tips like using ur nail and such and then practice for a good day to 2weeks hten you'll be able to do a Rev Ta biggrin.gif

    Date: Mon, Jun 1 2009 03:34:37

ive been working on it for about a week and still cant get it every time. i get it like 20% but just keep at it till you master it.

  35. marcelc
    Date: Mon, Jun 1 2009 13:40:18

i need 1 week to master itu, and i can do it well know smile.gif

at first i thought you snap the pen lolz, but after i watch eso's, i finally understand haha(not an adv.)

My problem is a bit weird. I learnt the TA Harmonic in just one day, (three days ago, in fact smile.gif) and my record is 36 times. However, I still haven't learned to catch the pen, IE I still can't do a TA reverse properly...

  40. Inheritance
    Date: Thu, Apr 22 2010 03:48:05

I actually got it by accident. I was telling my friend about the TA, and he asked if I could do the reverse. I said i knew the motion, and I showed him, then he told me to to do it in normal speed. And... I did it. laugh.gif
