I'm more of trick selection, a style can only get you so far, and they get old.

They wouldn't get old if you are able to come out with different styles every time. Tricks get old. Tired of BakFall already?

style definitely. i'm never bored of watching bonkura's 2nd solo.

bonkura doesn't do hard tricks either, but no one does it the same way he does.

i get bored easily by fast and extremely difficult tricks done in a combo. i don't like getting a 'WTF is he doing?' feeling when watching a combo. but thats just me. lazy to disect the thing and get a breakdown and realise that it's hard. wink.gif

Tricks selection. I'm not talking about doing bakfall in every combo...that's not tricks selection. That's an example of bad tricks selection.
Bonkura had great style, I know, but we could get tired of his spinning when he does same stuff. His 2nd solo would be real boring without the jump rope, 2p1h, aerials, etc. Leviathan has great smoothness too, but when he added tipped sonic fall to his combo he became a god. Really I think it's about trick choice and linkage. Styles differentiate the spinners but it doesn't help make the combo good like that.

you need both on your way to becoming a good spinner.
Through your developing, you'll have to choose between both of them.
As you progress, and become better, you end up including both factors in your spinning.

Style in my opinion. Some tricks that are easy may seem hard and vicevesa.

Obviously style, its smoother, flows better and it means you don't have to worry as much about getting the trick done so you can relax.

    i really like style
i think thats why a lot of us like JEB spinners.
almost a lot of them have their own style...now some of them also have some pro tricks along with their style, but a lot of them have pretty average ticks as well..
like NIKoo...his tricks aren't as super difficult as lets say..s777
but he has some crazy ass style that a lot of ppl love.

I'm going for both style and tricks.
Some people get tired of the same style you give in every video.
So, it's quite important that you include some new tricks you haven't done before or not done in a long time.
If you only use the same tricks in every video, its kinda like just doing it in a different way,
    which isn't really appealing IMO.
