When you thought of a combo, may be for a long time or your too busy but you still think of a combo, and somebody just tells you that THEY don't like. What would your first instinct be? If me, I'll just go "Well f--- you, you do better. You come here and do this because I worked my a-- off"(Sorry for swearing, that's my instinct).

    What would yours be?

It's never happened to me, but if it did...I wouldn't do anything.
First, I don't go around telling people "check out my kick-ass PSing combo!".
Second, I don't care what other people think of my spinning, I just spin for me. happy.gif

    i never get this.
i don't show any combos off early,
because it might "spark" someone elses creativity.

I never go "Check out my Daisy combo!"
More like, "I'm using this combo for the tournament is it good enough?"

When people said no... it really piss me of, but I wouldn't shout at them though. tongue.gif (I would still use the combo anyway.)

ah. i try to be open-minded as much as possible. laugh.gif

if even one person says it's not good, it means there is something to improve on. i know we can't please everyone with our spinning, but i'll like to. happyy.gif

It happened to me, in a way. But I wasn't showing off my combo because I wanted to show off >_> It's because my friend asked me to help him to make up a combo, but I was really busy with everything. So I get back to school and showed him the combo and he just goes "You suck, go and make another combo". HE ASKED ME TO HELP HIM TO MAKE A COMBO, and he said I suck. Isn't it too much too ask for already?

In that case, I'd just tell him he's on his own if he doesn't like how I put together combos. If he's not happy with your help, he'll have to do the rest himself.

...if he doesnt like the combo you came up with then go to the "Request a Breakdown" thread and pull off one of Bonkura's combos and give it to him. Or give him one of Frat's combos happy.gif

i wouldn't get mad if they gave me some advice on how to improve

but i would if all they had to say was "wow, waste of my time" or "that sucked"

In this particular case, I would cuss him out too. Asking for someone's help and then demanding something better is a big no-no. Not only is that rude, it's very assuming on a friendship.

Tell him to go make up his own combo.
