You do realize you can't just put pens in a regular envelope right?

you can, but you cant use the regular stamps.

Yeah you can, I've done it before. As long as it won't break through the envelope.

I've received pens in a normal envelope..

And i've sent pens before with normal stamps.

I just go to the post office to find out how much you have to pay.

I don't see why you can't use normal stamps. I mean.. if it costs $5 to ship, you can get the post office to print out a $5 sticker and paste it there or you can just put $5 worth of value of normal stamps.

Uhh.. you guys cant send stuff by regular mail thats larger than any regular letter.
Regular mail uses a robotic sorting system (ie, shutes and such) to sort out where the mail has to go and watnot.
If you send a larger than normal envelope, it will jam up the machine resulting in broken pens, and a not delivered trade.
Trust me, ivve tried it, and had it returned in pieces tongue.gif

Parcels and packages use a sort by hand, or larger robotic system, designed to handel larger packages thus resulting in unbroken and perfect pens!!!

You have to make sure to EITHER send it in a brown parcel envelope with stamps, or just go to the post office.
So that it goes throught the right processing system.
As well, depending on where you are shipping, you will have to make a Item Declaration, stating what is in the package, so the border doesnt have to tear it open and have it stopped alltogether.

I've sent pens in a normal envelope, it is significantly cheaper, there is a certain size allowance though so you envelope can't have to many pens in it, but if you're sending a couple its not a problem. They usually have this plastic thing with a slit in it to check if you ask if it can go through normal mail. I think it can't be much thicker then what one RSVP would make it (you can have more but it can't be one layer if you know what I mean)

At least that's how it works here

A trader has sent me pens before in a regular envelope(no cushioning).

All of them were fine, nothing broken.

And yes, you can put stamps as long as it's enough(I usually put a bit extra just in case).

as long as you put some bubble wraps around the pens, itll be fine
