Regular Pen Discussion / Sunburst question

well im looking to make another purchase soon and i had a doubt ... i like to buy in bulk (several pens of the same kind) and in my next order i want to include several different type of pens. but i dont want to break the bank doing this so i want to know this.
will the ink tube of a "Pentel RSVP" fit inside of a "Pentel Sunburst" body and vise versa? the way i see it is i can save some money by buying some Sunbursts in one color and some RSVPs in the other color that i want to use to combine rather then buying a bunch of sunburst.
yellow sunburst+ sky blue rsvp= $3.19
-instead of-
yellow sunburst+ sky blue sunburst= $3.88
the .69 cent difference might not seem like a lot but if your ordering in bulk like me its a big difference. so any help would be appreciated. -

The RSVP and the Sunburst use the same ink tube, they are just filled with different kinds of ink.

Actually, the sunburst inktube is thicker than a normal rsvp. Its like an hgg inktube. The inside of the barrel is also a little wider.

so if i want to make a sunburst RSVP MX i HAVE to use 2 sunbursts to combine the ink tube and bodies? damn .. i was hoping to save a couple of bucks .. just in any-ball grips and hgg's im racking a 60 dollar bill and i havent even added the other pens im planning to get.

You only need 1 RSVP to make an MX.
And Sunburst MXs are fragile, the tips are almost nonexistant!
And your buying Anyballs? They are sold in the US! Get Their called Papermate Profiles! -

no i mean im getting just the Grips from the Anyball pens from Penwish (grips but no pens) and im planing to make a couple of MX's like the Sky blue and Yellow one in this pic (but different colors)

what do you mean "unless i have HGGs"? i mean i have to get HGG's anyway for the metal tip and grip that will go on the mx.

I think he meant that the HGG inktube fits in the Sunburst body =/
Maybe in the picture, the skyblue inktube comes from the HGG -

cant you just get a skyblue insert and use normal RSVP ink? so you don't write in crazy colors..

C3rb, the cheapest way to go (for the yellow/skyblue sunburst MX) is probably:
Skyblue HGG (for the grip, tip and inktube)
Yellow sunburst
Skyblue rsvp (for the back grip and back cap)
...so you dont need 2 sunburst. Also, to clarify again, the HGG inktube is exactly the same as sunburst inktube so they are interchangeable. -

ink tubes are throughout the whole body, so I don't see why the balance would be changed, except maybe for the little bit of extra stuff on the end of Sunbursts, the different tip types at the end of the ink tube I mean
