hey, i dont know i this is the right place or not or if theres already another topic but this is about spinning modded mods. By modded mods, im talking about retractable mx's, mp mx's, retractable commsas, and etc. i got myself some f-301s to make my comssa retractable, so my commsa (my favorite mod) would become writable. After finishing it, i was very happy, i then go to spin it and realize its not the same any more, no not really my favorite mod anymore. I wanna know what you guys think about modded mods. Do you like your regular Mx better then your MPMX spinning wise? Do you think making retractable or mp versions of mods ruin the mod?

A retractable metallic comssa is different than a regular metallic comssa. You can't compare them. It's like comparing a MX to a MMX.

Out of all the mp and retractable mods i have made i always preferred the original, except for the retractable comssa made by drivethebus. I tried his retractable comssa v2 and it wouldnt stay together dry.gif so i kept it metallic but had it so i had to remove the cap to click it.

Keep in mind that i have not made a mod in about a year or so.

MP and Retractable Mods are nice I find the less mechanism in it the better like at school i use the Mp and pen mods but i have to be careful but i still like them better

Making mods mp/retractable is always fun.
The spinability occasionally gets ruined; but sometimes, it's worth it to sacrafice the spinability slightly to make it useful in our every day lives.

My theory still stands. No matter how many things you do to a pen to make it write retractably|MP|clicking cap etc. you always switch to your original mod.

We make pens weighted for a reason, they aren't meant to write conveniently.

I don't get why it's so hard to switch from a MX to using like a Dr. Grip for writing, you put one down, you pick one up a moment after you stop writing. It's really not that hard

Or my theory: A retractable mod will never spin as well as a non-retractable mod. :>
