How the hell does he balance it so easily/well? It seems damn near impossible to do. -

Its just a devil's around -> catch in a "fuck you" position on top of 1 and 3 -> then slowly bring up the pen.
Helps if you have a little nail. -

after that he balances it on palm up, thats where i have no idea what he's doing, and it blends in well -

sweet im getting closer to it i can do K4LC i just need to perfect my devils around, i can only do it 1/6 of the time -

it made me giggle, but in the actual note of things. It's a tricky combo, its like me with a hitchhikers thumb and doing stalls on it when its all the way back. -

Just keep your fingernail a milimeter or so longer than ur finger and just rest the pen on that... the easy way out

You have to balance the pen between the skin on the tip of your middle finger and your fingernail.

this can also be used with other stalls, as long as some fingers are there for the pen to land on. I just thought of one actually. It would have taken a lot of practice and patience to learn to do that though. Didn't he do it at the SO-Cal gathering? The first one I think?

Hmm, i can balance the pen easily on the tip of my middle finger but raising it there with the 3 fingers is the hard part.

We should have an official name for the "fuck you" catch, especially since I've gotten really good at catching it from a Shadow.
With a name, we can then more readily work on performing the catch in other slots. If you do the equivalent catch from a Shadow Still 12, you can easily stop the pen in a position to perform a Snap Flip.
