Found this pen laying around my house. If you take the clip off, which is really easy to do, the pen isn't that bad to spin. I took it apart, and around the ink tube, there was a piece of metal.

For modders, it's a cheap way to add weight to the entire length of the pen. The metal tube fits snugly around the inktube of a BIC Round Stic. I don't really know what else to say about the pen, or if this is even in the right section. Here's a picture with a ruler at the bottom for reference. The metal tube is the piece at the top of the picture.

I don't know what you're talking about. These spin horribly.

Ok, whatever. The real reason for this topic is because of the metal tube. I don't know if it deserves to be in the modding topic or not.

These sorts of metal tubes can be found in quite a few pens. Mostly novelty types but the are pretty good for some things such as going between the ink tube of an MX and the insert, adds a good bit of weight but I never really saw it as being useful unless you really really need the weight.
