that is an interesting idea. Sort of like combining yo-yoing and penspinning. It would be interesting to develop

Bonkura famously touched on the boundaries of using a pen with string, although he used it more in a bouce and catch type system... rather than yo-yo.
I dunno.. looks cool and all, but there is really only so much you can do with it.
Once you do a mini combo like the one you did, you have to either release the pen, letting all of the string untangle from your fingers, or you have to do the exact reverse of the minicombo you did.
All in all, you can't get very creative with it, and depending on the string size you use, you cant do very large combos before you have to untangle the string.

I'm guessing that the ability to transfer to another combo probably would take a while unless you found a way to wind it back up while doing the last combo.

I tottaly agree... It is very cool idea Wiliux, but it has it's advantages... You need to have a very long string (especially in long combos), which will disturb you doing some good combos, because your fingers will entangle with the string, which will cause drop of the pen/pencil...I personally think it limits your creativity, various combos etc. But on the other side I think it's a very cool idea, which need still to be developed smile.gif It's very really nice looking style smile.gif I think I will try some tricks with that, too and probably use that in battles even though it limits creativity etc. biggrin.gif Maybe there is a way, how to combine these two things, which will cause much more variability smile.gif

Actually, to link a trick after ur style's trick, you can roll ur string(with ur mod) all the way down, and roll it up FAST to get the string get into a circular hook on ur mod's COG. Then u can just spin fine with it xD I'm just imagining it, and think that it'd work logically speaking, with ample practice.
