So it went something like this...

I was browsing through UPSB and I was hungry. I went upstairs and took out a beef and bean burrito. After, I grabbed a metal pan, plugged in my electric oven, set the temperature to 175°C, I reached up to my shelf to grab a roll of aluminum foil. It hit me. I looked at how shiny and malleable it was. scratchchin.gif "It's the perfect insert material," I thought.

So what do you think? Is this new?
Maybe just used a permanent marker of some sort and just make whatever design you want. It'll be shiny! happy.gif

Kam already has a pen like this.
The problem with this is that you have to roll up the Aluminum REALLY carefully to avoid getting it crinkly.
If that happens, then you have to start all over.
    Really difficult to do.

*Sigh* I knew it was already thought of... dunno.gif

Im gonna try this for my sunburst silver mx, the crinkles might look cool while in the pen

Yeah that's what I thought too! Maybe the crinkles add a bit of texture to it if you're not after that perfect, smooth sheen of uncrinkled aluminum foil.

i was eating a piece of 5 gum, with shinney colored foil, and i thought it would look cool as an insert, and i was right biggrin.gif
