Here are all of the decklists to begin with. Use this to look up cards. Rules, ect. can be found here.
Eburt: Black Lotus, Black Lotus, Chandra Nalaar
Zombo: Mishra's Workshop, Ensnaring Bridge, Scalding Tongs
pholord: Black Lotus, Channel, Platinum Angel
iamk34n3: Black Lotus, Channel, Snake Basket
Roris: Black Lotus, Black Lotus, Visara the Dreadful
death: Icatian Store, Stuffy Doll, Guilty Conscience
ShortAssassin: Forest, Golgari Rot Farm, Troll Ascetic
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And here are the match ups. The numbers after each indicates the winner of that match. So for example, 2-0-0 means the first person listed by name won both matches, the second person lost both, and there were no draws. 0-0-2 Would mean both were draws, ect. Scoring is as follows, Win = 3 points/game. Loss = 0 Points/game. Draw = 1 Point for each/game. So if you won both games, you would get 6 points for that match.
Eburt v. Zombo 2-0-0
Eburt v. pholord 2-0-0
Eburt v. iamk34n3 0-2-0
Eburt v. Rorix 2-0-0
Eburt v. death 0-2-0
Eburt v. ShortAssassin 0-2-0
Zombo v. pholord 0-0-2
Zombo v. iamk34n3 2-0-0

My thoughts: Well, my play didn't work out too well... I was counting on more creatures... oh well. There was absolutely no disruption in the field, which made some decks perform far better than they might have. I also think that the decks were very conditional. Either they won or they didn't... there were no matches that hinged on who went first, and only one draw match. There might have also been one or two that came down to a few turns difference (channel + snake basket math can become a bitch when you're trying to figure out a clock), but it was never close enough to matter who went first. Interesting and boring at the same time. I would have liked a larger play field.
I also think that this was fun and pretty simple, so I'll probably host another in the future, and maybe even get them going weekly if theirs more interest. Thanks guys for entertaining me!
And congrats to Rorix! (even if he used a deck right off that site ) Also great job Zombo and pholord, our runner-ups. -

Zombo and Death had the best thought out decks IMO. Everyone with double lotus and a big creature was lucky no one was playing creature kill, which seemed to be common in the decks I saw in the archives.

IMO the guilty conscience is unnecessary cuz all it does is cut your clock in half, I would rather see a disrupt in there.
btw my ensnaring bridge makes creatures as good as dead pretty mucch -
